BBPSynopsis:  Amelia Bradbury is finally free from Queen Julia and Cresthaven, but she isn’t safe yet. The Keeper power runs rampant inside her and it will take an ultimate act of selflessness to contain the darkness that threatens Amelia’s sanity and the future of the Immortal race.

Aidan Montgomery refuses to give up on Amelia. Once she’s rescued from the Keeper’s hold, he intends to prove his love is more than a side effect of the prophecy, even if doing so leads him away from his pack and on a journey that will irrevocably change them both.

When the past and the present collide and the shocking origin of the Immortals is revealed, Amelia and Aidan are forced back to Cresthaven to end a war that never should have started.

This is gonna be so hard to keep short and keep all the spoilers out!

This book is a YA, third book in the series. I received an arc of this book. Be jealous. 🙂 One thing that immediately stood out was the fact that we get multiple POV’s! I love being able to be inside all the different characters heads. It was so fricking great! Her writing has advanced significantly since her first book. Her first book was great, don’t get me wrong, her second book was even better. And this one, well, I am excited to see how she can top this one.
She just makes the characters better and more complex, and her plotlines are beautifully choreographed. They are interweaved together flawlessly and her loose ends are tied up.
Even the minute ones that I didn’t even think about, for instance, when Bethany was travelling with them I didn’t think about where her family thought she was because I was so engrossed in the story but she addressed that issue and it just made like her writing more.

These characters are young characters but they are not stupid, they have always been strong; since the beginning of the series. Their growth has been intense at times but they have never stopped believing in each other and being there.
I will say this, I was a bit let down with Micah’s story arc. He is and has always been my favorite. And if I’m being completely honest, I wanted him and Amelia to get together from the very beginning.
I like Aidan too, he is wonderful, he’s very strong and treats Amelia equally. This stood out for me because as an alpha he is very intimidating to others. He resists that within himself. I love a self-aware man.

Bethany’s story took a squirly turn for me. I was honestly not expecting her to go in that direction. And Cole! I had a tentative relationship with his character throughout this series but he really came through for me in this book. I was blindsided with his direction as well. In a great way.

Although the way that Amelia resolved the keeper power threw me, the story as a whole was like an exquisite symphony. Highs and lows but never stopping, building and building until the crescendo bursts forth with all the sounds coming together in a perfect harmony.

Favorite Quotes:

The demons of your past are never far away. You can never outrun them-you can only face them head on and fight them to the death.

“I hate you” I hissed at Aidan. “You do not,” he goaded me. “You think I’m goooorgeous. You want to kiiiiss me.’

“Bethany?” I questioned. I waved a hand in the empty space in front of me and felt something I instantly knew I shouldn’t have. I had felt that particular part of her just once, and had to get her permission first. I started to apologise when Bethany’s invisible palms connected with my chest, shoving me back.
