Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

  • The Christmas Challenge (The Wilder Brothers #3) by Sinclair Jane from Tule Publishing. This is the third book in the series but it can be read as a stand alone. I got this book from Netgalley for the Ho Ho Ho Read-A-Thon being hosted by The Caffeinated Reviewer Book Blog. FYI this book was awesome.  Releases November 15th.
  • The Christmas Project by Maxine Morrey from HQ Digital (HarperCollinsUK). Another Netgalley book for the Read-A-Thon.  Releases November 14th.
  • The Holiday Gift by RaeAnne Thayne from Harlequin (US & Canada). See Above.  Releases November 22nd.
  • The Faith of William Shakespeare by Graham Holderness from Lion Hudson (Lion Hudson Plc). I requested this book for my Read Harder Challenge. It’s a biography and since I love to read I thought why not read one of a famous author right?  Releases April 1st, 2017.

  • Jacked Up (Birmingham Rebels #3) by Samantha Kane from Loveswept (Random House Publishing Group – Loveswept) — releases January 31st, 2017.
  • Hard Hitter (Brooklyn Bruisers #2) by Sarina Bowen from Berkley (Berkley Publishing Group) — releases January 3rd, 2017.

Got the Paperback:

(I got all of these in anticipation of the Big Apple Author Event October 2017)

  • Royally Screwed (Royally #1) by Emma Chase — I haven’t actually read this one yet, but since the eBook is way over my price threshold, I decided to leap and just assume I’ll love it and grab the paperback.  I rarely do this…seriously, this was a huge leap for me.
  • Sustained (The Legal Briefs #2) by Emma Chase — Now this one I totally read and LOVED.  I mistakenly didn’t realize that Ms. Chase wouldn’t be selling books at her table, so I didn’t bring my own for the Emerald City Author Event April 2016, so I’m making sure I remedy this situation for BAAE.  You can see my review here.
  • To Have and To Hold (The Wedding Belles #1),  For Better or Worse (The Wedding Belles #2), and  To Love and to Cherish (The Wedding Belles #3) by Lauren Layne — Ms. Layne is another author who will be attending BAAE, and she’s a tricky one for a signing, since a majority of the books I love from her are through Random House’s Loveswept line, which is an eBook only line (which sucks when you end up having a favourite book and want a paperback copy for your bookshelves to pet and admire).  But this year she signed on to do the Wedding Belles series with Pocket Books (part of Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster), which means PAPERBACKS!!!  So I scored the whole series in Paperback to drag with me to NYC to get signed.

  • Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon — I keep hearing about this book from EVERYONE in the reading community, and Goodreads sent me this note about their own deals newsletter and featured this book for $1.99, so I snatched it up…  Funny thing is, then I went to sign up for the newsletter, and it’s US Only.  *sigh*  Oh well, like I need more newsletters telling me about cheap deals.  Obviously I have too much of that already.
  • Sparrows for Free (Sparrows #1) by Lila Felix — This one is Curly Carla’s fault!!  She wrote a review about it and sucked me in, so I put it on my wishlist.  And sure enough, eReaderIQ let me know it went on for free, so I snatched it up.  It’s back to normal price now…
  • The Honeymoon Prize (The Honeymoon Series #3, Ever After #1) by Melissa McClone — Saw this one on BookBub for free (and it’s still free!), and since I got another Ever After book by Melissa McClone from NetGalley, I thought I would get another in the series in case I got curious about the characters!
  • Getting Worked Up (Sapphire Falls #2) by Erin Nicholas — Another BookBub find for free (and still FREE!), and another book I got because I got another book by this author from NetGalley, and if I find out I really enjoy her, then I’ll want to read more — so why not grab it while free!  That’s the way my mind works…
  • Popped! (Pop! #2) by V. Kelly — And last but not least, Ms. Kelly is a friend I made from another author’s street team/fan club, and she became an author in her own right!  I have yet to read her books, but from reading reviews of book 1, it sounds as though I will want book 2 right away, so when I saw it go on sale for 99 cents, I snatched it up!  I believe both books are on for 99 cents still!

    • eReaderIQ is only the best thing ever. You can upload your Amazon Wishlist to it, and it will monitor those books for price drops. You can even go in and set a price threshold for each book (like $3 or $2 or whatever) and it will only send you an e-mail if the price drops BELOW your price threshold. It’s very dangerous. You can also put in your favourite authors and monitor them so that it will let you know about price drops for any of their books.
