Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

32945748Backstage Pass Boxed Set (Backstage Pass #1-5) by Ophelia London, Lisa Burstein, Rebekah L. Purdy, Suze Winegardner, and Erin Butler from Entangled: Crush (Entangled Publishing, LLC) — releases December 5th, 2016.  I’ve actually read the first book, and while it was only a 3 star for me, I’ve been terribly curious about the rest of the band members.  So I figured why not request the boxed set!  But now I see that it’s apparently on sale for 99 cents, so I’m totally preordering it.  I mean seriously, 5 books for 99 cents, why would I say no to that?  This anthology contains the following books:

Aimee and the Heartthrob by Ophelia London

Mia and the Bad Boy by Lisa Burstein

Daisy and the Front Man by Rebekah L. Purdy

Anya and the Shy Guy by Suze Winegardner

Abby and the Cute One by Erin Butler

New Releases:

32798890Hole Hearted (Songbird #9) by Melissa Pearl — Received the ARC, so already read!  See my review here.

Won It:

A Postcard Would Be Nice by Steph Campbell  — released November 21st!  This book has been recommended by all my favourite authors, and went straight to my wishlist!  Then the lovely Nyrae Dawn held a giveaway on her Facebook page that I entered, and somehow I lucked out in winning!  This book sounds fantastic people!

 Got It On Sale:

  • Boy Band (Boy Band #1) by Jacqueline E. Smith — Another eReaderIQ alert from my wishlist, I managed to score this one for free (but it looks like the sale is done now).  I do believe I was recommended this book from someone when I was looking for more celebrity romances.
  • Getting Out of Hand (Sapphire Falls #1) by Erin Nicholas — So I recently got a few of Ms. Nicholas books, either on sale or through NetGalley, and while I haven’t read them, they sound like they could be up my alley.  Anyways, I was sharing a deal for another author (Mari Carr) when I discovered one of her erotic series (Wild Irish) that I really enjoyed is going to be opening up a Kindle World, which apparently means that other authors will be writing books set in that world.  And one of those authors was Erin Nicholas, and they mentioned that this book was free, so I thought “why not!”  And it’s still free as of me writing this!
  • Kissing the Maid of Honor (Secret Wishes #1) by Robin Bielman — This one I got an eReaderIQ author alert because I started following her, and this book dropped down to 99 cents so I said SCORE and one-clicked!  Still on sale.
  • The Hardest Fall (Roadmap to Your Heart #3) by Christina Lee — This was a BookBub deal for 99 cents (sorry, it’s back to regular price now).  I have the first 2 books in this series, and since one of my favourite authors (Nyrae Dawn) loves this author so much and has written with her, I figured I can’t lose!
  • My True Love Gave to Me: Twelve Holiday Stories (Twelve Stories) by Various Authors — Another eReaderIQ alert from my wishlist, normally $7.80 (or for me like $9.61, which it’s back to now), it was temporarily on sale for $2.99 and I know I would never get a better deal than that.  I kind of want to see what all the fuss is about with some of these famous authors (like Stephanie Perkins, Rainbow Rowell, and David Levithan).
  • Too Late by C. Hoover — Cause when Colleen Hoover has a new book come out, you put that shit on your wishlist.  And when a few days later you get a message from eReaderIQ that it’s gone on sale for 99 cents from its usual $4.99, you say “OK!” and you one-click, even if you still have only read her first 3 books (shame, shame).  But alas, that sale is done.
  • Uncivilized (Uncivilized #1) by Sawyer Bennett — So this one has intrigued me for quite some time, but apparently it’s not on my wishlist…maybe I just wasn’t sure based on reviews.  But this author is going to be at the Big Apple Author Event I’m attending October 2017, and when I saw that this book was on sale for 99 cents through The Rock Stars of Romance newsletter with their holiday deals, I figured I’d snatch it up.  Still on sale too!
  • Love & Decay: Revolution, Volume One (Love & Decay: Revolution #1-4) by Rachel Higginson — I *still* haven’t read Season 3 of the original L&D series, but I figure eventually I’ll get to it and then want to read this series, so when she put it on for free for the day?  You bet your bippy I one-clicked!
  • Sell Out by Tammy L. Gray — A few of my friends recommended this one (including Anita @Anita Love 2 Read who really needs to make a new blog button now that her blog has moved) and so I put it on my wishlist, and hence got an eReaderIQ alert letting me know it was free when it’s usually $3.99 (still free!).  I just realized that this one may be Christian fiction…which isn’t usually my bag.  It might be just clean fiction, which is cool with me, I just sometimes have a hard time relating to Christian fiction.  But I guess we’ll see!
  • Anyone But Him by Cassie Graham — I actually just had this book on one of my Top Ten Tuesday lists of Books that I’d recently added to my TBR (or wishlist), and then I got the eReaderIQ alert telling me that it was on sale for 99 cents (normally $2.99) so I snatched it up!  Still on sale!
