Skylin’s life is quickly turning into a chaotic mess the longer she stays with the Everettsons. Not that it’s their fault. No, her rare powers are causing most of the chaos.

Not only is something as simple as going to school becoming dangerous, but her dreams of darkness are becoming more frequent and intense.

Fortunately, she has Foster and his brothers to help her. And the link between them. That is until an incident at school alters the link. Then things start to get really complicated.

And those complications only get worse as the wall around Skylin begins to dissolve, and the secrets hidden behind it are revealed. Reading order of the Enchanted Chaos Series: Enchanted Chaos (now available) Shimmering Chaos (now available)

My Review:

I think I know why I stopped reading JS a while ago. It was too much of the same.  I don’t really know what to say about this book. It seems like it is an RH but since nothing sexual actually happens I’m still unsure. Its a lot of ‘looks’.

We don’t really find out whats going on and there are more questions than answers by the end of this story.  I think I must have been wearing rose colored glasses while reading the first one.  The characters don’t seem to evolve and I did notice that this covers only a week of actual time.  So I’m having a hard time swallowing how fast everything seems to be going.  A real hard time.

There’s a lot of action and epiphany’s in this book for Skylin, but she doesn’t seem to know what to do with them.  She doesn’t ask the questions that we, the reader, need to know.  This makes it hard to relate to her and even like her.  Because she is coming off as weak for losing focus and getting caught up in her feelings for the boys.  This is supposed to be life and death and all she seems to think about are the boys.  It doesn’t add up.

Also, this storyline is forgettable, cliche and ends the same way as the first one.  Once I can forgive, twice….I don’t know.  Maybe I will read the next one.  I’m on the fence, its annoying but I hate giving up and the books are short enough.  I guess I’ll have to re-evaluate when the third one comes out.  Hope its a trilogy.
