The 2019 Reading Assignment Challenge is hosted by Berls and Michelle @ Because Challenges Make Reading More Fun.  #2019HW

I had a terrible time with this challenge last year.  Apparently I’m not good with lists.  This year’s looks a bit different and has some more flexibility, and there are three semesters (Spring: January – April (break in May); Summer: June-July (break in August); Fall: September – November (break in December)).  I’ll be taking the following classes for Spring Semester:

Professor AuthorLuv’s Beginner Class (credits: 1):

In the beginner’s course you’re committing to reading one book a month by your chosen author. You’ll get an A if you read 1 book by that author all 4 months, a B if you read 1 book 3 of the months, a C if you read 1 book 2 of the months, and a D if you read 1 book 1 of the months. Professor AuthorLuv will have to give you an F for anything less.

My chosen author is Penny Reid!

Professor Genre’s Intermediate Class (credits: 2):

In the intermediate course you’re committing to reading two books a month in your chosen genre/theme  You’ll get an A if you read 2 books in that genre all 4 months, a B if you read 2 books 3 of the months, a C if you read 2 books 2 of the months, and a D if you read 2 books 1 of the months. Professor Genre will have to give you an F for anything less.

My chosen genre is Non-Contemporary Romance!  I know that’s broad, but I really just want to make sure I’m not JUST reading contemporary romance.

I will be repeating the EXACT SAME CLASSES for my Summer Semester (with Penny Reid as my author again, and Non-Contemporary *ROMANCE* as my “genre”).

Books Read:

AuthorLuv:

  • January: Attraction (Elements of Chemistry #1, Hypothesis #1.1) by Penny Reid
  • February: Dr. Strange Beard (Winston Brothers #5) by Penny Reid
  • March: Space (Laws of Physics #2, Hypothesis #2.2) by Penny Reid
  • April: Time (Laws of Physics #3, Hypothesis #2.3) by Penny Reid
  • June: Love Hacked (Knitting in the City #3) by Penny Reid
  • July: Ninja at First Sight (Knitting in the City #4.75) by Penny Reid

Status: ACHIEVED! I got an A for Spring Semester in both my classes, and an A for Summer Semester in both my classes!  And I’m not signing up for Fall/Winter because I’m apparently feeling lazy.
