• Crazy Love by Kendra C. Highley from Entangled: Embrace (Entangled Publishing, LLC) — releases January 22nd, 2018.  I’ve read some of Ms. Highley’s YA books and really enjoyed them, so I’m excited to read an NA from her.
• Love Between Enemies (Grad Night #2) by Molly E. Lee from Entangled: Crush (Entangled Publishing, LLC) — releases January 8th, 2018.  I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in this series (see my review for Love in the Friend Zone) and can’t wait to read Zoey and Gordon’s story!
• Lions and Tigers and Boys (series name unknown #1) by Tawny Stokes from Entangled: Crave (Entangled Publishing, LLC) — releases January 8th, 2018.  I read a LOT of contemporary books, and for 2018 I kind of want to try to mix it up a bit more.  So even though I really didn’t need more ARCs in January, I couldn’t help requesting this Wizard of Oz retelling-ish…  It sounds really good!!
• The Vanishing Spark of Dusk (series name unknown #1) by Sara Baysinger from Entangled: Teen (Entangled Publishing, LLC) — releases January 8th, 2018.  And similarly, adding another sci-fi to my list sounded like a great idea!!  🙂

ARCs from Authors/PR Companies:

• Game of Hearts (Fandom Hearts #3) by Cathy Yardley — releases January 30th, 2018.  OK, so in all things amazing, this author contacted both Curly Carla and I and asked if we’d share an excerpt and offered us both an ARC!!  So excited, I LOVED book 2 of this series (see my review of One True Pairing), and can’t wait to read this one!

Preorders That Went Live:

• Man Hands (Man Hands #1) by Sarina Bowen & Tanya Eby — released December 11th, 2017.  I read an ARC of this book and loved it (see my review here), and since there was a preorder sale I totes snagged it!

New Releases:

• Countdown to Midnight (The Story Sisters #2.5) by Katy Regnery — released December 10th, 2017.  I was saddened to hear about the end of the Blueberry Lane series this summer, especially in the middle of The Story Sisters series.  So I was ecstatic to hear that we’d be getting a novella of the last two sisters for Christmas!  Merry Christmas to me!  I’m excited to dive into this one!

Purchased:

• Kissing Tolstoy (Dear Professor #1) by Penny Reid — So this one is the extended version of “No One Looks Good in Leather Pants” which has been released a chapter at a time in Ms. Reid’s newsletter…which I never read, b/c I have no patience, and can’t read books in chunks.  But the proceeds from the sale of this book went to hurricane relief in November, and I forgot to buy it then.  But then I saw in Ms. Reid’s newsletter that the proceeds in December would go to Toys for Tots, so I figured I would get my purchase in!

Jingle Bell Book Exchange:

The Jingle Bell Book Exchange is on its third year and is a group of readers who post their Christmas wishlists and then other readers buy books for them!  The rule is that you have to purchase at least 1 book for someone else.  They can be Kindle books or Paperbacks/Hardcovers.  I love this, b/c you get to give and receive!  I love making someone else’s day!  And I love scoring some highly coveted books!  I had some problems this year with Amazon not wanting to give me the books b/c I’m in Canada, but I was mostly able to exchange for credit and then buy the books myself.  Amazon be cray-cray.

• Burn Before Reading by Sara Wolf from Annie!!  I LOVED Ms. Wolf’s Lovely Vicious series, and so was looking to read more from this author!

Got It On Sale:

• An Ex for Christmas (Love Unexpectedly #5) by Lauren Layne — I adore Ms. Layne, and I adore Christmas books.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $4.99, I squeeed and one-clicked!!  Still on sale!
• Scoring (Lowell High School #2.5) by Mari Carr — I spent the last week cleaning up my old Kindle so that maybe I can give it to someone, which meant a lot of redownloading Harlequin books and emailing them to the Kindle cloud instead of just transferring them manually.  So I already had this novella, I think maybe from the previous publisher’s webpage directly.  It’s since been rereleased, and since I didn’t have it in the cloud, and it appears to always be free, I just bought it from Amazon instead.
• Luther’s Return (Scanguard Vampires #10) by Tina Folsom — I’ve read the first 4 or 5 books in this series and really enjoyed them, so even though I don’t have a few in between, when I got the eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $4.99, I snatched it up.   It’s still on sale, but I saw in Ms. Folsom’s newsletter that it’s a short sale, so grab it quick.
• 6 Mountain Brothers for Christmas by Rye Hart — This one is Curly Carla’s fault from last week’s Stacking the Shelves…I’ve been intrigued by Reverse Harem stories, so decided to give it a go.  Technically I don’t think this is actually a sale, it appears to always be 99 cents.
• Legs by Kelly Siskind — I’ve enjoyed a few books by Ms. Siskind, so when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $2.99, I snatched it up!  No longer on sale.
