Blurb:HIS FOR CHRISTMAS
I stand very still, holding a pen I shouldn't be touching, in the office of a man I've never met. The man who's standing behind me now. The man who has his hand on my hip.
He's my new boss.
I could fight him, but then he might ask questions. He might find out about my criminal record, the one I didn't mention on the job application. So I let him make me come, but he wants more. He needs more, and for some reason I want to give it.
But if he finds out about my lie, I'll be out on the streets--or back in jail.
BEDTIME STORY
Once upon a time... Remember the fairy tales your parents read to you when you were little? This is NOT that fairy tale.
A woman on the run from her past.
A small-town sheriff who thinks he's beyond love.
And the dark, cold road where he pulls her over. Find out what love can awaken in this modern-day retelling of Sleeping Beauty!"This story is absolutely beautiful, and touching and poignant and it does Sleeping Beauty proud. From the start you could see the charge in the air between the two even though it took them a while to realize it themselves. Beauty got her HEA." - Kathy, Goodreads reviewer
CAUGHT FOR CHRISTMAS
I'll be home for Christmas...
The plan is simple. Break into the club and steal the money I need to save my father. The ex-military bouncer isn't going to stop me, even if he is hot as hell.
If only in my dreams...
Except he has a curious knack for knowing my next step.
And there's something dark underneath his desire, something dangerous. If he catches me, he might not let me go.
Fair warning: Contains a sweet, sexy, honorable man who is ruthless when it comes to catching the woman he wants.
Okay, His For Christmas was just plain weird. It felt like watching a train wreck. I wanted to look away but I just couldn’t. Their original romantic encounter was very unusual. I felt a bit violated reading it but that’s just a personal thing. The steamy-ness and the chemistry was there but the application was a too edgy for my tastes.
The beginning of Bedtime Story had some potential but ultimately deflated in the end. Not only did the story have no real plot or climax, but the whole story wasn’t very cohesive at all. It was more of a half finished or rough draft of a story than anything else.
Caught for Christmas was the big winner in this boxed set! It had depth, it had chemistry. It was super intense and had a great plot line. It was effing phenomenal. I’m going to keep my eye out for future novels by this author.
Just the blurb for the first one made me feel wrong… Glad the last one was a hit at least!!
