Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Lenoreo’s Haul
(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)
NetGalley ARC Requests Approved:
- Licks by Kelly Siskind from CD Books (Weapenry Co-Op) — releases April 4th, 2018. I’ve really enjoyed books by this author before, so when I saw this one said “Read Now”, I said WOOHOO!!!
- Royal Match (Royal Scandal #3.5) by Parker Swift from Forever Yours (Grand Central Publishing) — releases May 8th, 2018. This was another “Read Now” book, and since I mostly enjoyed the trilogy, I figured I needed to read this novella.
- All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover from Atria/37 Ink (Simon & Schuster Canada) — releases July 17th, 2018. I don’t know how this happened. It was probably a mistake. I wished for it, like I do with all the unattainable books that I never expect to get. And then I got an email that my wish was granted. And after a brief pause of disbelief, I scrambled over to NetGalley and pressed Send to Kindle as fast as my little fingers could before the publisher changed their minds.
NetGalley ARC Widgets Offered (and Taken):
- Lennon Reborn (Preload #4) by Scarlett Cole from Swerve (St. Martin’s Press) — releases May 1st, 2018. I’ve still only read the first one in this series so far, but I LOVED it. So when I was offered a widget for this book, I said yes please!
ARCs from Authors/PR Companies:
- Dead Set (Aspen Falls #2) by Melissa Pearl & Anna Cruise — releases April 20th, 2018. No preorder, so the title goes to Goodreads. This is an early ARC for proofreading as well.
- Wait With Me by Amy Daws — released March 22nd, 2018. I heard the story behind this story and couldn’t resist requesting! I just finished, review coming soon.
- Smiling Irish (The Summerhaven Trio #2) by Katy Regnery — releases April 3rd, 2018.  No Kindle preorder for this one either. I just started it and am loving it already!
Borrowed From The Library:
- Beautiful Secret (Beautiful Bastard #4) by Christina Lauren — I actually just finished reading the paperback of this book in time for Apollycon and LOVED it (see my review here), but I had put a hold on the audiobook at the library in case I could listen to it instead of reading the dreaded paperback. Well, a few days ago it was checked out for me automatically because I forgot to release my hold. So I’m currently listening to it b/c I was curious about the narrators. I really need to do some audiobook reviews…
Got It On Sale:
- So Much More by Kim Holden — In the last Stacking the Shelves I mentioned that Ms. Holden had some books on sale, so I went back that night and nabbed this one as well. It was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $2.99. No longer on sale.
- Hotter Than Ever (Out of Uniform #5) by Elle Kennedy — I don’t remember how I learned of this one, but it was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $2.99, but that sale is over.
- Grip (Grip #1) by Kennedy Ryan — This series had been recommended to me, and I had the prequel novella already, though I hadn’t started it because I’d heard there was a cliffhanger. So I wishlisted this first book, and when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99, I snagged it. Sale is over.
- The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli — I still haven’t read any books by this author, but I saw Love, Simon at the theatre and loved it, so when I saw this on BookBub, on sale for $2.99 from its usual $11.99, I one-clicked so fast! I think it’s just a Canada sale, b/c it’s still on sale for me. That like never happens.
- Accidentally on Purpose (Heartbreaker Bay #3) by Jill Shalvis — I have this one in paperback, but as we all know by now I hate reading paperbacks…so I wishlisted it. So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $5.99, I jumped on it. No longer on sale.
- Beneath the Truth (Beneath #7) by Meghan March — I really have to stop collecting books by authors I’ve never read, no matter how good the deal. But this is an author that I’ve seen recommended, and she will be at Book Bonanza. So when I saw this on sale for 99 cents from its usual $4.99 on BookBub, I couldn’t help myself. Still on sale for me, but probably not for US.
- Stone (Stone Cold Fox Trilogy #1) by Max Monroe — This is a new release that I think I learned about from blogs I follow, as well as in the Book Bonanza Attendees group on Facebook. It was 99 cents (and still is for this Canadian), so I snagged it! I think for everyone else it’s now at $3.99.
- Runaway Groom (I Do, I Don’t #2) by Lauren Layne — I actually have a NetGalley ARC of this one that I haven’t read yet (bad Lenore), but I follow this author on eReaderIQ, so I find out whenever any of her books go on sale. So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $5.99, I went for it. Still on sale!
Enjoy your lovely romances đŸ˜‰
Looks like an amazing haul for you. Yay for the Canada sale on Upside of Unrequited (it was apparently on sale in the US back in December because I own the ebook too). Hope you enjoy all your new books and have a Happy Easter!
Amazing haul. Enjoy your new books and have a great week!
LOL congratulations for receiving the unicorn ARC of CoHo! The Wish-For-It thing is a funny thing as the publishers don’t actually see who they grant the wish to.
Happy Easter!
Looks like a lot of sexy romance this week. Something we can all use! Have a fun week reading!
