Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish, but now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl in which you make a list of ten to do with a certain topic. This week’s topic is “Frequently Used Words In [Insert Genre/Age Group] Titles.” Curly Carla chose Paranormal Titles!
Curly Carla’s Top TenThree:
These were the most prominent in my lists, and I wanted to back up the frequently used words with a few examples. However, I know there are many more frequently used words in titles in this genre such as…..Prophecy, War, Fairie. I just don’t want to get examples ya know?

So what are some of the most frequently used words that you notice in Paranormal titles?
Alpha or shifter are big ones I can think of off the top of my head. Great list.
Great list! I can see why “wolf” would be popular in paranormal fiction. You gotta love the shapeshifter characters.
Is it bad that every time I see “wolf” in the title I automatically skip checking out the synopsis? I guess paranormal romances just aren’t my thing.
**Takes notes on words NOT to use** Coming up with titles is HARD! LOL Great list.
