Blurb:A Dark soul gathering magick …
The Master of Light struggling to find his place …
The alluring Fire witchling who holds the key to helping him …
Darkness looms over the school for witchlings where the Master of Light, Beck, races to control his magic so he can protect the innocent. He struggles to balance his duty with his broken heart and to understand how to move on from what he considers his ultimate failure: his inability to save the woman he loved.
Morgan is on the run – for a good cause. The soul stone she carries could kill Beck and everyone else she cares about, if she’s caught by the Dark witchlings pursuing her. Neither Light nor Dark, she begins to think she’ll spend her life in the shadows, undeserving of Beck’s love and alone with her secret.
When the paths of Beck and Morgan collide again, there isn’t time for doubt or fear. They must work together to tackle the Dark soul that wants them both dead. To do so, there can be no more secrets between them.
Without Trust, Love and Light, the witchlings will perish.

Figures as soon as I meet someone I really like, I end up murdered.
This series took me FOREVER to finish. I loved the first two, the third one was alright but I found myself delaying finishing the series. Not because I didn’t want to, but, well, yeah I guess I didn’t want it to end. So in that aspect I didn’t want to, ya know.
And since I waited so long to finish the last book in this series I had a hard time remembering a lot of back story. But once I started reading I realized it was all still up there, sitting on a bookshelf collecting cobwebs, waiting for me to dust them off.
First off, let me say I’m not a real good guy kinda girl. I love me a dark, tortured soul. So Beck’s character didn’t really appeal to me. Oh, I liked him well enough, he had his own struggle, but I found him to be too good. Too nice, too forgiving, too loving. So his story didn’t really interest me that much.
But Morgan’s did! She was my dark, tortured soul! Her struggle was fricking intense! She had so much baggage, from her abuse growing up, to her feelings of unworthiness for Beck, to her repsonsibility for saving the light. She felt very deeply but didn’t allow her feelings to interfere with her duty. A woman after my own heart! She was stubborn, faithful and brilliant.
Their journey to saving the light was filled with intrigue and some pretty unredeemable characters. I loved to hate Dawn. Her heart was filled with so much hate and envy, I could parallel it to society. I felt tainted just reading about her, yuck! But in the end she got her comeupance. I love it when a plan comes together!
And now I get to add this to my #finishingthseries2018 reading challenge that we host!
ROFL, whereas I do love a good guy!! Glad you enjoyed the end of this one!
