Blurb:While preparing to leave Uttira after graduation, Megan finds the Book of Fury. The answers she's needed about who she is, her purpose, and her powers have been there the whole time, along with a shocking revelation. Now, it's not just a matter of finding Megan's mother. Megan must find the two preceding generations as well, because the book is clear on one thing: there can only be three furies.
Ok, so this one was awesome but the plot seems a bit all over the place. Them searching thorugh the streets loking for killer was very confusing because it didn’t really seem to be going anywhere. And I don’t think we ever really find out who dun it, or I should say, why he dun it. And what was up with Eliana’s mom? Did we really need her in the story at all? And the druid guy, yeah, he was nice and pretty harmless in the end but we never do find out what his deal was either. I hate when things are not tied up at the end.
Megan and Oanen physical relationship goes to the next level and it is super steamy. ::fans self:: They are just so combustable together. But I was sad we didn’t have Eliana or Fenris in this book that much. It all seemed very fast paced and rushed. I was really looking forward to their growth. I think the whole ‘only three furies’ thing could have been handled way different but I know it was done for the movement of the story. I just wish it wasn’t so transparent.
I was very surprised and happy with how Megan dealt with her dilemmna. It was inspirational and only someone who wasn’t raised in the magical world her whole life could have connected the dots in such a inventive way. It was quite simply, a stroke of genius and totally made up for the other nit picks in this story.
I hope there are other side stories in this world, I’d read them.
