Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)
NetGalley ARC Requests Approved:
- New Ink on Life (Thorn & Thistle #1) by Jennie Davids from Carina Press (HARLEQUIN – Carina Press) — releases May 27th, 2019. I’m always looking to expand my LGBT+ reading beyond M/M books.
ARCs From Authors/PR Companies:
- Eleanor & Grey by Brittainy C. Cherry from Social Butterfly PR — releases April 8th, 2019. Watch for my review coming up Tuesday (I think)! No preorder for this one.
Preorders That Went Live:
- Spring Fling by Various Authors — released April 2nd, 2019. This anthology is only available for a short time (I think), and it’s only 99 cents. I think I learned of it initially because Cambria Hebert has a story in it, but 6 of the other authors will be at Talkbooks Author Event in Boston (which is in 1 week!), so I figured if I have time to read those, I might as well!
- Mr. Fantasy by Cambria Hebert — released April 2nd, 2019.
Gifted/Won It:
- The Friend Zone (Game On #2) by Kristen Callihan — I won a Friday giveaway in Melissa Pearl/Jordan Ford’s fan group (Songbirds & Playmakers) for an ebook $5 or less! Of course I couldn’t decide between this one and the next, and I told her to pick…but instead she gifted them both to me because she’s crazy awesome. This one has been on my wishlist FOREVER because it’s always on the lists for great sports romances.
- Soul in Darkness by Wendy Higgins — This was the other book, and it just released recently but I’ve heard great things. And this author will be attending both Penned Con and Shameless, so at this point I have 2 opportunities to meet her.
Newsletter Freebies:
- Timid (Lark Cove #2) by Devney Perry — Snagged this one from Sarina Bowen’s newsletter! I still have not read anything by this author, but she will be attending Shameless in Orlando.
Audible Romance Package:
- Forever My Girl (Beaumont #1) by Heidi McLaughlin, narrated by Nelson Hobbs & Stephanie Rose — I don’t have much luck with this author, but it’s a short audiobook, and it was made into a movie, and I’m going for one last chance.
Audiobooks:
- Ever After (Unfinished Fairy Tales #3) by Aya Ling, narrated by Luci Christian — Time to see how the series ends!! Again, this was $1.99 Whispersync Add-On. Been listening to it all week!! It drives me insane that the male narrator isn’t credited anywhere though…
Had To Get The Next In The Series:
- Ever After (Unfinished Fairy Tales #3) by Aya Ling — Again, I had to buy the book before I could get the Whispersync Add-On. Gotta complete the series!
Got It On Sale:
- Hounded (The Iron Druid Chronicles #1) by Kevin Hearne — I don’t even know who recommended this to me…I think quite a few people, but Theresa at minimum. So I wishlisted it, b/c while it’s $2.99 for US, it’s almost $8 for me normally. So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was on sale for $1.99, and it was for me too, I one-clicked!! It’s no longer on sale for me.
- Hard Hitter (Brooklyn Bruisers #2) by Sarina Bowen — I read an ARC of this book and really enjoyed it, as I do all of this author’s books (see my review here). So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $7.99, I went for it!! Still on sale.
- Rise (Symbols of Love #1) by Dylan Allen — I’ve never read this author, but she’s attending Shameless in Orlando, and she advertised that this one was free (I think because it got a new cover) from its usual $3.99, so I figured why not? And both the hero and heroine are biracial, so yay diversity (and I think it might be #ownvoices too)! Still free!
- #Starstruck (#Lovestruck #1), #Moonstruck (#Lovestruck #2), & #Awestruck (#Lovestruck #3) by Sariah Wilson — I follow this author on Facebook and she mentioned all her books are currently on sale. All 3 of these are $1.99 from their regular $4.99. I have NetGalley ARCs of the first two that I still haven’t read, but I’m taking a risk that I’ll love them. Still on sale!
Soul of Darkness looks interesting…..
I don’t even know where to start with this post! So many amazing books on it. I can’t wait to hear what you thought of Eleanor & Grey.
