Blurb:Willa Knight: Dweller? Bad-ass? Notorious pet to five magical beings?
In Blesswood, there are rules, and someone is trying to teach her how to follow them. The only problem is Willa. Which shouldn’t be anything new, since she has been a problem since birth—something her pseudo-sister Emmy would agree on.
So it definitely shouldn’t be new … but it is.
Because things are starting to happen that have never happened before.
Things are starting to get …chaotic.
This is a full novel, 90,000 words. Book 2 of 5 in the Curse of the Gods Series
Ok, Willa is one of the luckiest and unluckiest dwellers in this world. She is one of those people that tripped and stumbled so often that she just went with it after a while and held faith in the universe that she would come out on top. This series is a bit ridiculous as her emotional maturity is seriously lacking compared to the Abcurse brothers. That is one my least favorite things about this book.
But thats really the only thing I had a problem with. And maybe the fact that the Abcurse boys don’t really know why they are drawn to her. They just are, there is no incident that endeares her to them. And they don’t really show a lot of affection towards her just yet, it’s more of a protectiveness since she entertainment’s them with her clumsiness. She’s like a pet to them in this book.
This is a serious slow burn of a RH. And TBH I think that’s the secondary storyline anyway. I tried to resist this book because I wasn’t super impressed with the storyline, but for some reason, I like to read about ridiculous trainwrecks and this one fits that criteria. I’m on book 5 now and I canm say it does evolve from here.
Oh yes! This series just pulls you in! Willa is so hilarious LOL I love her chaos. I loved the Abcurse brothers and wanted to know more about them. I think Willa is probably more lucky – she gets to be with the Abcurses so.. Haha.
I think Willa is the luckiest – she gets all the Abcurse brothers and doesn’t have to choose! LOL. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Have read it several times and I am still not bored of them.
