Blurb:I never expected Nate Ryder to change my life the way he did.
Hell, I never expected to fall in love with the one guy who made my life a living hell for five years, but here I am. He’s the perfect example of something I never knew I needed.
He’s my rock. My salvation. He’s exactly what I need when my life goes up in flames.
I thought the worst was over. I thought I was safe to move on from the horrors of the past few weeks, but I have never been so wrong.
If I knew my life would spiral out the way it did, I would have just stayed in bed with the covers pulled right over my head, but this time, it’s not only my life spiraling out of control. It’s theirs.
Nobody messes with my boys except for me.
This time it means war.
This time I’m pulling up my big girl panties.
This time they’ll learn not to mess with Tora Roberts and the Ryder brothers.
This time we’re putting them down and that’s where they’re going to stay.
WARNING: The Broken Hill High Series is a four book New Adult Romance filled with LOL moments, teenage angst, and of course, all the swoon worthy moments I know you’re all dying for. This series is recommended for mature readers due to cursing and sexual content. If this offends you, then steer clear of this bad boy romance!
For everyone else, dive in and have fun!
This book started out slow and easy and it had a ton of telling and not enough showing. I wanted to give it a good shot since I was losing interest. And you know how sometimes the second half of a book will pick up and redeem it. Yea, no, that didn’t happen in this one. A lot of fluff was thrown in that had nothing to do with the actual story. Tora was very wishy washy, being bad ass one minute and super vulnerable the next. And while I love that about some characters, her change was very abrupt and choppy. The transitions were terrible. I can’t even go on because its just gonna be more negativity and I try not to go down that rabbit hole too far. Ah well, no I know I won’t be reading anymore in this series and can focus on other books.
I read this entire series…I think! LOL. I’m pretty sure I did. I think I might have found the first book here even. I feel like it didn’t progress as well as it could of. It felt pretty repetitive. I think I prefer Fallen Crest High or Broken & Screwed series more. The only other series similar that I can remember adoring is Erin Watt’s Royals series.
I loved the Royals series but I haven’t read Brokend and Screwed….yet. đŸ™‚
Broken & Screwed was my first Tijan series. I liked it a lot.
