Senior year. My last chance.
There's so much riding on this, and I won't let anyone get in my way.
Bruuuuuuuuuh! This story took a wild turn. So Lake has no chill, right. His mind has vacated the building and he is seriously delusional. I’m a little irritated this took three books for us to find out why he was so hateful towards Tessa. I mean, the pill popping was understandable up to a point but if the other boys were really his friends they would have done something before it got that far.
It was like it took Tessa getting hurt for them to come together and even then they went about it the wrong way. I’m not sure they were ever true friends. More like baasketball buddies with the way they shut him out. Bad form on them. And the ending was left a bit open ended which I found super annoying.
Tessa didn’t really grow that much in this one, it was more of the same with her resolve to be a basketball player with a more roamnce driven theme. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some romance but for some reason I was more focused on her basketball goals than the romance parts. Anyway, I’m glad I finished the series. Maybe I’ll read more from this author.
