Blurb:

It’s hard being the most popular girl on the ice planet. The alien men are falling all over themselves to impress me in the hopes that I’ll take them to my furs. But they don’t know my secrets – none of them do. And they don’t realize that behind my smile, I just wish they’d go away.
I don’t want any of them. I want someone else – someone with a gorgeous blue body, big horns, and the most intense gaze ever. He’s the only one that knows the truth. Maybe with him, I can work through my fears of the past…. but I’m pretty sure he wants more than just friendship.
He wants forever, and I’m not sure I can give it.

My Review:

This one was another winner! I don’t know how RD makes each story unique but she handles it!  I mean, how many times can you tell the tale of resonance without running out of ideas?  Apparently, the answer is like 20, which I think is how many installments this series has so far.

Anyway, I was wondering when they were going to touch on the big bad aliens and how some of the girls were treated prior to being ‘rescued’ by the cool blue dudes. This one addressed Tiffany’s past while also introducing some agriculture into the world building, showing that even though most of the girls are not hunters they can and do contribute to the well being of the tribe, which I quite liked. Tiffany is quite popular with the unmated dudes and gets a lot of unwanted attention which makes for a bad situation when you have a traumatic past.  Josie (one of my absolute favorite characters in this series) helps a girl out with diversions.

Salukh is the most beta-ist dude ever.  He doesn’t pester her with gifts and get needy with her attention. He is just trying to be her friend even though he does have the feelings.  I quite like his ways of handling her fear and nervousness.  They are pretty cute together. I love that each male is his own unique character in this series. I don’t get confused with who is with who. Another great story from the Ice Planet.
