Blurb:All this snow and no holidays? What's a stranded human to do?
Create a new holiday, of course. Georgie and the other women decide to bring some new traditions and cheer to the sa-khui. More babies are born, presents are exchanged, and a new romance blossoms between a human woman desperate for a change, and the alien determined to protect her.
This 25,000 word novella is NOT intended as a stand-alone. Looking for a place to start? Try ICE PLANET BARBARIANS, Book #1 in the series.
I loved this cute short. I mean, the full length novels are’t terribly long too but this one is more like a quick read. And it doesn’t really focus on one couple but on the whole tribe. It was super cute how they introduced the holidays to the blue dudes. Their idea of fun was like strength challenges and stuff like that. They never played games or celebrated holidays with presents and specialty foods. I didn’t even realize how much it added to the whole tribal unit until this one came out. I loved how the men butchered the names of the holidays and how the ladies were trying to explain the idea of mistletoe to them. That was hilarious. I hope they celebrate other holidays in the future and we get to catch another glimpse of it.
