Blurb:Pucker up for two irresistible millionaires who are about to meet their matches...under the mistletoe!
The Wrong Brother by Maureen Child
Well, she'd "asked" to be kissed. Who was Sam Hale to deny a beauty such a request? But when the businessman discovered she was Anna Cameron, the woman he'd made his brother stop dating, Sam knew trouble was brewing. Especially since his mistletoe lady was driving this noncommittal bachelor to distraction....
Mistletoe Magic by Sandra Hyatt
He never expected to be kissing his "wife" under the mistletoe. Millionaire Luke Maitland had married Meg Elliot under extreme circumstances...certain they'd never be reunited. Yet even as he planned to end their temporary union, he could not ignore the intense passion between them. Was this magnate meant to be married?

4 stars — I will admit that I’ve become more wary of my Harlequin books as time passes. I’m just not the same reader I was 10 years ago, you know? I notice things that I never did before. So I was wary going into this book, but I was pleasantly surprised! Was it perfect? No. Did they not even discuss a condom? Oh yes. But I enjoyed the fire between these two, and it was the kind of enemies to lovers that I generally enjoy. There were some misconceptions, some outside influences, but once they started to connect things started to change. Plus, I love learning about new things, and I thought Anna’s Trompe-l’œil painting stuff was fascinating! All in all a good solid quick Christmas read with pretty likeable characters and great chemistry.

4 stars — Having one of the books go well usually means that the other one will be a dud — NOT SO! I enjoyed this one too! I was worried in that opening scene, b/c I had no idea what was going on or what the undercurrents were about. And normally I am not a huge fan of having information trickled out over the course of a book, but it didn’t drive me too crazy in this one. Especially because the whole story behind their marriage was kind of unique and fascinating. I was worried about Luke, and that I wasn’t going to like him because he was kind of abrupt, but I loved what Meg brought out of Luke in the end. They were cute together, and it was a feel good ending.
I think it helped that I dove in with low expectations for both of these novellas — it ended up being a pleasant surprise!
This cover is so old school!!! I love that the insides were good, though.
