Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews (and co-hosted by Reading Reality) in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

NetGalley ARC Requests Approved:

  • His Holiday Crush by Cari Z. from Entangled: Brazen (Entangled Publishing, LLC) — released December 14th, 2020.  LOVED IT!
  • Roman and Jewel by Dana L. Davis from Inkyard Press– releases January 5th, 2021.

ARCs From Authors/PR Companies:

  • Roommate by Sarina Bowen, narrated by Stephen Dexter & Teddy Hamilton — releases January 12th, 2021.  So excited for this sort of precursor to the new World of True North books coming out in 2021!

Gifted/Won It:

  • Against the Grain (Auckland Med #4) by Jay Hogan — This is an author who will be participating in the upcoming World of True North (through Sarina Bowen), and she offered this book in a giveaway in Sarina’s Facebook group.  I don’t tend to enter a lot of giveaways, b/c I feel guilty if I don’t get to the won book right away.  BUT, I read this blurb and was sold and made an exception — and won!
  • Stranded in the Woods (Holiday Acres #3) by Noelle Adams — The rest of these books were all gifted to me through Jolabokaflod with book friends!  I think I heard of it first a few years ago and started gifting books to any book friends whose wishlists I had a hold of (either through Elfster or Amazon — feel free to PM yours to me to get on the list for next year).  This Christmas Eve my friends beat me to it, and it’s honestly one of my favourite traditions!  This one I received from the lovely Ashley!
  • Stranded for Christmas (Holiday Acres #4), Romancing the Scot (The Pennington Family #1) by May McGoldrick, and Stroke by Stroke by Jamie Bennett — I received these all from my good friend Amanda!
  • The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller — And this one I got from my dear Caylie, because apparently it was one of her fave reads of the year — which makes me pretty excited!

Borrowed From The Library:

  • One to Watch by Kate Stayman-London, narrated by Kristen Sieh — Turned into one of my favourite reads of 2020, listened on Libby.
  • Bayou Baby (Butterfly Bayou #2) by Lexi Blake — I adored this addition to the series, got it on Overdrive.
  • How the Dukes Stole Christmas by Tessa Dare, Sarah McLean, Sophie Jordan and Joanna Shupe, narrated by Mary Jane Wells — This was a fun anthology, though I ran out of steam and didn’t end up finishing the last story.  Listened on Libby.
  • Puppy Love (Forever Home #1) by Lucy Gilmore — I was bullied into reading this series by Joooood from Platypire Reviews, and I have ZERO regrets.  Review coming soon!
  • Lost Talismans and a Tequila (The Guild Codex: Spellbound #7, Guild Codex Universe #10) by Annette Marie, narrated by Cris Dukehart & Teddy Hamilton — I was floundering in my reading a bit last week, so I went back to my tried and true GCU on Hoopla and loved this next book!  Course, now I’m anxious because there’s only a few left.  Review coming soon.
  • The Roommate by Rosie Danan, narrated by Brittany Pressley & Teddy Hamilton — I’m listening to this one now and really enjoying it!  Got it on Libby!

Newsletter Freebies:

  • Come Back for Me (The Arrowood Brothers #1) by Corinne Michaels — Can I be honest and say I have no idea which newsletter offered this BookFunnel freebie?  But I was curious so I snagged it!

Got It On Sale:

  • Miracles and Menorahs (Friendships and Festivals #1) by Stacey Agdern — A Hanukkah story??  Yes please!  Also, just learned I had no idea how to spell Hanukkah.  Saw this one on BookBub on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99, so one-clicked on Kobo.  No longer on sale.
  • Mistletoe in Paradise (Wildstone #5.5) by Jill Shalvis, narrated by Erin Mallon — Who doesn’t love Erin Mallon?  Well, maybe some people, but definitely not me.  When I saw it on Chirp, on sale for $3.99, I snagged it.  No longer on sale.  I meant to get to this one this year, and I might still sneak it in.
  • Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall, narrated by Joe Jameson — I read an ARC of this one this summer and totally loved it and could see rereading.  So when I saw it on Chirp on sale for $3.99, I snagged it.  Still on sale (but not for long)!
  • Roar (Stormheart #1) by Cora Carmack, narrated by Soneela Nankani — This one has been on my TBR for awhile, but I saw it on sale for $2.99 on Chirp, so I nabbed it.  No longer on sale.
  • A Match Made for Thanksgiving (Holidays with the Wongs #1) by Jackie Lau — I think I saw book 2 of this series on a Christmas reads list, and when I saw that book 1 was free, I one-clicked on Kobo.  Still free!
  • Puppy Christmas (Forever Home #2) by Lucy Gilmore — When I was writing my review for book 1 (coming soon), I noticed that this one was on sale for $2.99 from its usual $5+, so I snapped it up.  Still on sale!
  • Afterburn (Texas Firefighters/Island Fire #5) by Amy Knupp — This one was previously titled Island Haven, and I have the paperback version.  I had recently decided to keep another book in this series on a Down the TBR Hole (next week’s edition I think), so when I saw this one on BookBub on sale for just 99 cents from its usual $3.99, I figured I’d grab it on Kobo.  I prefer reading on a device if given the choice.
  • My Fair Monster (Monsters in Hollywood #2) by Lila Dubois — On one of my first Down the TBR Hole’s, I decided to keep book 1 of this series and I ended up reading it in October and enjoying it more than I thought I would!  So I wishlisted book 2, and got an eReaderIQ, alert that it was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $2.99.  And even though it’s not much of a sale, I still snagged it on Kobo.  Still on sale.
