Blurb:

Indulge in two delicious standalone tales of love at first date starting with Your French Kisses, performed by Shane East and Erin Mallon...

To do list for my last day of my Paris vacation...

Walk along the river Visit all the chocolate shops in the city Wander along the cobblestoned streets. Things I don't expect to happen...

Meet a charming Englishman while strolling along the Seine Spend the afternoon with him exploring Paris, and kissing. So many French kisses... Board a plane that night wishing I'd gotten his last name. Besides, you can't fall for someone in one day, especially when you live a world apart...

You can also enjoy a brand new recording of the novella Too Good to Be True, now with narration from Joe Arden and Andi Arndt...

To say I'm wary of love would be an epic understatement. Keep that four-letter word far away from me.

But then a matchmaker friend insists she can pair me with the perfect man for me.

Even when sparks fly and chemistry crackles from the first date, I refuse to believe this kind of insta-connection can be the real thing.

Even though for the first time it feels like it could be.

My Review:

YOUR FRENCH KISSES:
4 stars — This was just cute.  I really felt the connection between Marley and Reed, it really was magical and bittersweet.  It was the perfect story for novella form, b/c we got a glimpse of the present, then the whole past story, then back to the present.  It helped us invest in them as a couple, and get excited for the ending.

I liked that there wasn’t much angst (other than their decisions in Paris) — it was just nice light romance.  And sometimes that’s what you’re in the mood for.

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE:
DNF in Chapter 1 — This might be an awesome novella, but my mind was wandering and it was taking a long time to get to the good stuff…so I DNFd.  I just have too many books on my TBR to spend too much time on something that’s not grabbing me.
