My rating:
Blurb:Everyone knows Megan and Cashol hit it off the moment they resonated… didn’t they? But when Josie goes into labor, an off-hand comment makes Megan point out to her friend that no, things weren’t always so smooth. Just because resonance is immediate doesn’t mean it’s immediately perfect.
But also…just because it’s an instant bond doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Sometimes it’s very, very right.
3.5 stars — Cashol definitely stole the show in this one. Which is not to say that Megan was unlikeable, it’s just that Cashol…well, he was adorable. Teasing and adoring, but also strangely vulnerable in his own way.
Megan was a bit harder for me to connect with at times, just because of how extreme her sense of not belonging was. I understood it to a degree, for sure, just maybe not to the Megan degree.
But they were pretty fun together, and I appreciated seeing a couple that fulfilled resonance, but still had to work on some things afterwards.
Also, their little family in the present is pretty adorable, and it was fun to catch up with the original tribe and see a glimpse of them all again.
