It's been years since my mother was in my life.I healed.I learned to accept love.I lived. That's all done. She was away, and now she's back.I avoided her for a year and a half, but I couldn't hide anymore.Mason had an internship in Fallen Crest, so we headed back for the summer. And when we got there--no one was prepared for what happened.

* A full-length novel.* Sixth in the Fallen Crest Series

My Review:

Favorite Quotes:

“Do you not realize the lengths I’ll go for you?” he asked softly. A pocket of air caught and held in my throat. He leaned forward, his forehead resting on mine. “I scare even myself, Sam. There’s nothing I won’t do for you.”

This woman. I wanted to destroy her. I wanted to hurt her the way she’d hurt me. I wanted misery to come to her, but I also missed her. I could remember the times we’d laughed, the few there were. And I loved her.

This one was par for the course.  Lots of drama just like the others but this time they are older and more mature about how they handle their vendettas.  And they always piss someone off, so they have plenty of enemies to protect themselves from.  But now they can go to big boy jail and do hard time, and while they love to push the envelope, they aren’t complete idiots. They showed some good growth with their decisions and you could tell they were all aware of the consequences.  They were also looking toward their futures together, as a family.

While it was pretty repetative with Sam’s mom drama and the whole Adam and Becky frenemy deal, I still didn’t get tired of it.  And I really should have. I have with other books. Maybe because I’m so invested in Sam, Mason and Logan. Maybe because they are predictable and I go back to this series when I need a break from serious fantasy/sci-fi.

Whatever it is, I cannot get enough of these characters.  I will defenitely be reading the rest of these, but I think there is only one more with two side novellas.
