My rating:
Blurb:I’ve never spent a day without my mate since arriving on the ice planet. I’m happy and in love, and we have a beautiful child together. All that changed when the world shook.
My mate nearly died.
He wakes up from his coma…and he can’t remember me. Or our son. Every memory of the past two years is gone. And that changes everything between us. How can I love someone that doesn’t remember me?
How can I not, when I know he’s still my mate underneath it all?
This one was cute. I liked how they had to get reaquainted with each other. It gave us a break from the usual storyline that take place. Also, everything kinda changes after the cave in. Our tribe suffers a great loss and they have to find a new home so that really alters how everyone is living and coping. A nice twist because things were beginning to get a bit stale.
I felt that Stacy was a little harsh on Pashov and everyone else seemed to take her side. Like it’s not his fault that he lost his memory. Yet most of them were relying on him to fix the relationship between her and him. And he felt super guilty about it too. He made an extrordinary effort to be a good mate. Stacy wasn’t really receptive to his effort because she was still so caught up on how he used to be.
She eventually came around and realized she was expecting too much while not giving enough but she isn’t my favorite character.
