Blurb:

Seasons ago, I resonated to the quietest of tribesmates, a male content to love me from afar while I was the center of attention. We could have been happy. Despite our differences, I loved him and he loved me.
But then a terrible thing happened…and my world was never the same again.
Now resonance is giving us a second chance, but…I’m afraid. What if what I have with my mate is too broken to be fixed? What if there’s no hope left for us at all?

My Review:

This is one of my favorite stories so far. There was so much more developing than just resonance. It had sorrow, redemption and growth. This series is surprising me the more I read. The characters are evolving and it’s a joy to go with them on this journey.

I was surprised at how much I didn’t like Asha.  She is sprinkled throughout this series here and there and she is super bitchy and bitter.  Now I know why.  Her loss has ate her up so much she doesn’t know how to feel good anymore.  I couldn’t imagine what she is feeling. Although that doesn’t make it ok for her to treat others the way she has but at least now I understand.

Hemalo was hurting too and couldn’t understand how to help her while he was dealing with not only one loss but two after she rejected him.  I found him to be extremely patient and a bit of a pushover really.  He is proabably the only person who could handle Asha.  He’s a better person than me cause I would have given up if someone kept treating me the way she treated him.

I loved how they fell in love all over again though, it was sweet and when they finally really talked about their feelings instead of just assuming what each other was feeling, things really started heating up.  It was a lovely reconciliation and I’m glad RD added their story in this series.
