Honestly, I was really let down with this one. But I picked this book from a group without really reading the blurb so I have only myself to blame. First off, she trusted them way too quickly. Her personality was pretty bland and I nothing really stuck out to me that made me relate to her or like her even.
The guys were a little bit better personality wise but they were still didn’t really stand out to me. And I don’t understand the whole Grayson side quasi-romantic interest. It didn’t make sense, like, she was already feeling out the Iris team so why throw in ANOTHER love interest when she wasn’t even sure about the Iris boys. It was all just a bit extra. The mystery was the best part IMO. The mom being sick was cliche and the ending was predictable. I won’t be reading more in this series.
The blurb was exciting, but your review makes this sound so blah. Sorry that it wasn’t better!
