Blurb:

Some people greet the day with open arms. Sheriff Sunshine Vicram would rather give it a hearty shove and get back into bed, because there’s just too much going on right now. There’s a series of women going missing, and Sunny feels powerless to stop it. There’s her persistent and awesomely-rebellious daughter Auri, who’s out to singlehandedly become Del Sol’s youngest and fiercest investigator. And then there’s drama with Levi Ravinder—the guy she’s loved and lusted after for years. The guy who might just be her one and only. The guy who comes from a family of disingenuous vipers looking to oust him—and Sunshine—for good.

Like we said, the new day can take a hike.

My Review:

4.5 stars — This was a great final book in the trilogy!  I felt like all the loose ends were wrapped up in a super satisfying way for the overarching storyline, and the mysteries in this one kept me just as enthralled and hooked.  Unfortunately I see a huge book hangover in the future, which is always so hard to get over.

Once again our characters were hilarious, smart, sassy, and just exactly what I’d come to expect.  I love the small town of characters, I love the family, I love the friends, and I love all the Sheriff’s deputies.  I actually felt like I missed some of those deputies a bit more, but there were still some fun antics here and there.  I especially love that they’re all very different and bring different things to the team.

I feel like the mysteries in this one were a bit easier to figure out, but there were still twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and had me on the edge of my seat.

All in all this series was fantastic, and especially fun to binge.
