I gave this book 5 stars.  I love this cover!  It’s pretty no? This novella was pretty dang good. I didn’t read the blurb cause I enjoy being surprised when I read. You are wondering how I get my books by now aren’t you? (cover judger, title judger and she doesn’t read the synopsis, what!) I honestly don’t know. Mostly word of mouth and FB honestly. So back to the book. I can’t even tell you what genre it is because I have no idea. Is it mystery? Romance? Sci-fi/fantasy? I’m just gonna call it ‘people who lose their memories’ genre. The book started out with the memory loss which I thought was pretty cool. I was learning it at the same pace as the characters themselves. Lots of hints to help me start to put the background together. Bit of a Romeo and Juliet thrown in there too. I have got to say that I love when the males are romantic without losing their masculinity. It’s tough to write a character with both of these attributes. But it was done really well in this story. Charlie (female) is a bit of a mean girl if I’m honest. And whats up with that shrimpy chic? Something fishy going on there I bet. Great short story, can’t wait to read the next one.
