Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Curly Carla’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

New Releases:

  • When Knowing Comes (Secrets of Windy Springs #2) by Valarie Kinney. This releases TODAY! I received an ARC of this book but I always purchase them as well so my reviews are legit on the ‘Zon.  The first book is free today (In The Presence of Knowing).

Books I Purchased:

  • Awkward by Lily Kate. I saw this book and liked the title. Turns out, the content was wanting, never finished it.
  • Winter Igniting (Scorpius Syndrome #5) by Rebecca Zanetti. I’m a huge fan of the Scorpius Syndrome Series so whenever I find a new book in the series I grab it. I’ve been slacking because TWO books have come out since I last looked.
  • Blaze Erupting (Scorpius Syndrome #4.5) by Rebecca Zanetti.

Freebies:

  • Shadow Kitty by Kurt Zimmerman. I got it for my daughter cause she LOVES cats. She read it and liked it.
  • The Frog Prince (Faerie Tale Collection #8) by Jenni James.  I do love a good fairy tale retelling.
  • Condemned Series: Books 1-4 by Gemma James. I saw this on a FB blog page I follow and figured I could check it out. This is still free last I checked.

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

Audiobooks:

  • Reckless Magic (Star-Crossed #1) by Rachel Higginson, narrated by Bailey Carr — So, after embarking on the audiobook train and enjoying it as an alternative for rereading favourites, I started looking for other books I already own and love where adding on the audiobook was only $1.99…because that’s a seriously good deal.  And this is one of my favourite series, so I was stoked to see it for just $1.99!  If I enjoy the narrator, you can bet I’ll be nabbing the rest of the series.
  • The Deal (Off-Campus #1) by Elle Kennedy, narrated by Lorelei Avalon — Another $1.99 deal!  And since I just finished this series, but haven’t read the first and second one in 2 years, I figured this is a great way to reread!
  • Pucked Off (Pucked #5) by Helena Hunting narrated by Rose Dioro & Jacob Morgan — So I just got this book on Kindle last week on sale for 99 cents, but it was still just $1.99 to add on the audiobook.  So this will be my first experiment trying to listen to the audiobook first.  We’ll see how it goes!  I enjoyed listening to Jacob Morgan in some of the other audiobooks I’ve listened to, so it has that going for it.

Preorders That Went Live:

  • Marriage of Inconvenience (Knitting in the City #7) by Penny Reid — released March 6th, 2018.  I normally won’t spend this much on an ebook, but Ms. Reid was emphatic in her newsletter that this book would NEVER go on sale, and in fact will go up in price pretty soon.  So I sucked it up, b/c I know I’m a completionist.

Got It On Sale:

  • The Cinderella Princess (Royal Holiday #1, Ever After #2) by Melissa McClone — I saw this one on my Book Bub email, on sale for free from its usual $2.99.  I’ve read the 3rd book in the Ever After series and enjoyed it (see my review for Christmas at the Castle), so I figured I’d snag this one too!  Still free!
  • Lips Close to Mine (Wherever You Go #2) by Robin Bielman — I follow Ms. Bielman on eReaderIQ, so when I got an alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99, I snatched it up!  Still on sale!
