Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

NetGalley ARC Requests Approved:

  • Bring Me Their Hearts by Sara Wolf from Entangled: Teen (Entangled Publishing, LLC) — releases June 5th, 2018.  You guys!!  I’ve loved the one contemporary YA series I read by Ms. Wolf, so when I heard about this one, I knew I wanted to check it out!  I wished for it, and in a miracle my wish was granted!  I am seriously on a roll between last week and this week.
  • Save the Date by Morgan Matson from Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers (Simon & Schuster Canada) — releases June 5th, 2018.  I’ve never read a book by Ms. Matson, though I’ve heard great things.  So when I saw it in a NetGalley email, I figured why not try for it (though I don’t usually have luck with the big publishers), and lo and behold I got it!  I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing given the number of books on my plate.  I honestly expected to get rejected.
  • Knocked Up (Crazy Love #2) by Stacey Lynn from Loveswept (Random House Publishing Group – Loveswept) — releases June 12th, 2018.  I read the first book in this series (see my review here), and while my reaction was a bit mixed, I want to give this author another try.

New Releases:

  • Fool Me Once (The Secret Societies Collection #3) by Kat Nichols — released April 4th, 2018.  This was a book I beta read earlier in the year, and now it’s out in the world!  And for those collecting, this is a “Lenore book” (ie a book that has Lenore mentioned in it and it’s *this* Lenore).

Borrowed From The Library:

  • Love Hacked (Knitting in the City #3) by Penny Reid — So I recently discovered the joy of borrowing ebooks from my library.  And I’ve been using this as a way to read the books I have paperbacks for, but don’t have the Kindle books (b/c e_too_cheap).  Only there were a few that weren’t in my library’s catalogue — the HORROR!!  But then I discovered I can SUGGEST TITLES.  OMG.  I wasn’t sure how this worked, so as this was another book I’ve been wanting to read, but haven’t bit the bullet and bought the book yet, I thought I’d test it out.  And it worked!!!  Course now I have to decide if I read it now, when I should be focusing on ARCs and reads for Book Bonanza, or return it for now and borrow it again in a few months.  Probably the latter.
  • Without Merit by Colleen Hoover — This is an author who will be at Book Bonanza (nay who’s HOSTING it), and when I saw my library had the ebook, I figured I’d borrow it.  Course, then I started reading some of the reviews, and now I’m a bit concerned that this wouldn’t be a hit for me (the kinds of things people were unhappy with are things that would bug me).  So now I don’t know.  With all the other books I have to read before BB, I figure maybe I’ll just return this one and prioritize the others.
  • Broken Juliet (Starcrossed #2) and Wicked Heart (Starcrossed #3) by Leisa Rayven — So these were the books I really wanted to suggest my library purchase (since I have the paperbacks), and I did, and they did!  But someone else must have suggested them before me, b/c I didn’t automatically get first crack at them.  But this morning I got the email that they are mine now.  So I foresee reading this series this month (I own the first ebook already).

Got It On Sale:

  • Kiss Me Kate (The Madison Stories #1) by Mari Carr — I think I actually had this one as an ebook from when it was with its old publisher (I think I purchased it from their website?).  But I prefer the Kindle versions, so I wishlisted it.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for free from its usual $3.99, I snatched it up.  Still free!!
  • February Stars (Wilder Irish #2) and March Wind (Wilder Irish #3) by Mari Carr — I think when I was buying Kiss Me Kate I noticed that these two were on sale too, and since I loved the original series that this one is a spin-off to, I figured why not.  I got these both for 99 cents each, and they’re still on sale for me, but I think they might be back to $3.99 for US.
  • Lucas (Preston Brothers #1) by Jay McLean — This book was on my wishlist because of Deanna @A Novel Glimpse, after I read her review for book 2 (Logan) I became intrigued.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for free from its usual $4.99, I snagged it.  No longer on sale.
  • The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith — I really enjoyed another book by this author, and have been collecting some paperbacks from Book Outlet (including this one).  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $8.99, I snagged it.  Still on sale!

It’s cute, isn’t it?? I don’t want to be responsible for you getting lost on NetGalley though…

Wow. You got a lot of good looking books this week. I saw Knocked Up and it sounds like it would be an interesting read. I hope you enjoy it more than you did the first one.
