Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

I’ve been on holidays for like 3 weeks, so this is basically all of July!!

Curly Carla’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

NetGalley ARC Requests Approved:

  • How to See Religion Differently: What questioning beliefs your beliefs can reveal, and why it can lead to a healthy mind by Luke Pemberton from BooksGoSocial — released July 14th, 2018.  This one looks interesting and it’s pretty short.
  • Ride with the SEAL (Norse Security #1) by Leslie North — released July 19th, 2018.  I was in the mood for something….easy to digest. And I had to throw in a naked chest for Katie. 😉

Borrowed From The Library:

Amazon First Reads:

  • What If Everybody Said That? by Ellen Javernick, illustrated by Colleen Madden.  I got an email and this was free so I bought it to read to my daughter.  After reading it I realized it was a bit young for her, but that’s cool, it will just take shorter to read it.

Got It On Sale:

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

ARCs From Authors/PR Companies:

  • Boy Toy (Man Hands #3) by Sarina Bowen & Tanya Eby — releases August 14th, 2018.  You have NO IDEA how excited I am for this one…

Preorders That Went Live:

New Releases:

  • Dire Straits (Aspen Falls #4) by Melissa Pearl & Anna Cruise — released July 14th, 2018.  I’ve been helping proof the books in this series, but I fell off the bandwagon with this one because of Book Bonanza.  So I gotta get this read SOON!!  So I can get back on the bandwagon for book 5!

Borrowed From The Library:

  • Tapping Her (Billionaire Bad Boys #1.5) by Max Monroe, narrated by Elizabeth Hart, Jeremy York, C.J. Bloom & Eric Michael Summerer — I LOVED listening to Tapping the Billionaire (see my review here), so when I saw this one was at my library, I definitely wanted to listen to it as well.  I just started, and I’m not *quite* as excited about the narrators for Cassie and Thatch, but we’ll see…

Audible Romance Package:

  • Banking the Billionaire (Billionaire Bad Boys #2) by Max Monroe, narrated by Elizabeth Hart & Jeremy York — As I mentioned above, I’m less sure about these narrators in Tapping Her, but heck, since it’s in the Romance Package, I’ll give it a shot!  If they’re not for me, I have the whole box set of this series.
  • Getting Schooled (Getting Some #1) by Emma Chase, narrated by Andi Arndt & Zachary Webber — I’ve heard many great things about these narrators, and knowing it was in the romance package, I borrowed it.  I have a lot to listen to in the upcoming weeks.

Audiobooks:

  • Flat-Out Love (Flat-Out Love #1) by Jessica Park, narrated by Julia Whelan — I got this one while on holiday, b/c I shifted my priorities a bit and kind of wanted to reread this one before Book Bonanza, and so since it was just $1.99 to add on the audiobook, I snagged it.  It was a GREAT listen (see my review here).

Had To Get The Next In The Series:

  • Still (Grip #2) by Kennedy Ryan — I read Flow before Book Bonanza and ADORED it (see my review here)…and while at Book Bonanza, I was in the middle of reading Grip (review coming soon).  And Ms. Ryan was one of my favourite meets at the signing, even though I’d only read a novella and half a book by her.  I just finished Grip and it was amazing, so after my upcoming readathon is over, you can bet I’m going to be finishing the series!

Got It On Sale:

  • The Song of David (The Law of Moses #2) by Amy Harmon — I’ve been wanting this book for a long time, especially after reading The Law of Moses.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was on sale for $2.49 from its usual $5.95, I snagged it!  Still on sale!
  • Roomies by Christina Lauren — I’ve recently discovered this duo and have really enjoyed them, so I went on a wishlisting spree.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this one was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $7.99, I one-clicked like a boss!  Still on sale!
  • A Court of Wings and Ruin (A Court of Thorns and Roses #3) by Sarah J. Maas — Since most of my friends love this series, I wishlisted all the books to watch for sales.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was on sale for $2.99 from its usual $7+, I snagged it…and good thing, cause the sale is over!
  • Reed (Cold Fury Hockey #10) by Sawyer Bennett — I’ve only read a few Cold Fury books, but I seem to enjoy collecting them so I can one day read them all.  So when I saw this one on my BookBub email for $1.99 from its usual $5.99, I one-clicked.  No longer on sale.
  • Challenge (Harris Brothers #1) by Amy Daws — In truth, I’ve only read one book by Ms. Daws, and it was only okay…but I think it was quite different from her usual fare, so I want to read more.  So when I saw this on my BookBub email for free from its usual $3.99, I didn’t hesitate.  No longer on sale.
  • Wildcat (Mavericks Tackle Love #1) by Max Monroe — I finally read my first Max Monroe book and ADORED it, so when I saw this on my BookBub email for 99 cents from its usual $4.99, I one-clicked.  Still on sale!!
  • The Light (The Cotiere Chronicles #3) by Michelle Bolanger — Curly Carla shared this sale on our Facebook page!!  Just 99 cents from its usual $2.99 (as is book 2 I believe), and still on sale!!
  • Catch and Release (Fishing for Trouble #3) by Laura Drewry — I read a NetGalley ARC of this one, and it was my absolute favourite of the series (see my review here).  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $4.99, I snagged it!  Still on sale!
  • Reed Brothers Boxed Set (The Reed Brothers #1-3) by Tammy Falkner — This series is one of Curly Carla’s faves, and she often recommends it!  I have the first book, but when I saw this boxed set on my BookBub email for only 99 cents from its usual $5.99, I one-clicked.  Still on sale!
  • About That Kiss (Heartbreaker Bay #5) by Jill Shalvis — I’ve been enjoying this series, so I wishlisted this one…and when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $5.99, I said yes please!  Still on sale!
