Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

Preorders That Went Live:

  • Cocktales by The Cocky Collective — released May 26th, 2018.  If you haven’t heard about #cockygate, then I’m sorry to inform you of actual serious drama in the book community.  The anthology was created to help authors who have been affected by that shitstorm, and to aid future legal battles in the book community.  And since the drama never stops, this book might be available for an even more limited time than originally intended, so I would snap it up soon if you want it and you want to help in a legal fashion.

New Releases:

  • #fangirlproblems: a Kpop Romance Book by Jennie Bennett — released May 20th, 2018.  These books are just good light fun, and I’m not even a Kdrama enthusiast!  Looking forward to this one, and I managed to snag it during the release sale of 99 cents!  Sorry folks, you snooze you lose.  😛

Gifted/Won It:

  • Three Blind Dates (Dating by Numbers #1) by Meghan Quinn — To celebrate the release of the most recent book in this series, Ms. Quinn had a giveaway in Penny Reid’s Sharks of Awesome group, and I won this ebook!!

Borrowed From The Library:

  • The Beau & the Belle by R.S. Grey, narrated by Luci Christian & Joe Arden — So I finally cracked my R.S. Grey virginity, and have really enjoyed her books!  So when I saw a few of her audiobooks on Hoopla with my library, I kind of jumped at the chance to squeeze in a few more before Book Bonanza.  I’m about halfway through this one and LOVING it.
  • The Foxe & the Hound by R.S. Grey, narrated by Luci Christian & Joe Arden — So the funny thing about this one is that I only borrowed it because I was having problems playing The Beau & the Belle (it kept skipping), so I wanted to see if it was just that book.  But apparently I think I have to turn off other apps on my phone.  So I haven’t started this one yet, and will hopefully fit it in before it’s due back!

Got It On Sale:

  • The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue (Guide #1) by Mackenzi Lee — I’ve seen this one recommended a lot, and in particular by my friend Theresa Kay.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was on sale for $2.99 from its usual $9.99, I pounced on it!  Still on sale!!
  • Kulti by Mariana Zapata — I’ve now read a few of Ms. Zapata’s works and enjoyed them, so I wishlisted some more.  And when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for $1.49 from its usual $3.99, I snagged it!  And good thing, it was only a one day sale…it’s over now.

  1. I tried to comment on this twice already, once from my phone and once from my iPad, and neither time did the comments post, so lets see if the computer is the trick.

As I tried to say before, I’m still waiting on my copy of Cocktales to arrive in the mail. I hear many of the authors will be at BB so that will give me a purpose while there.

Great haul for you this week, and glad you managed to get The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue while it was on sale.

    Have a great week.

I’m thinking I should have snagged the paperback of Cocktales as well. Maybe they’ll have copies for sale at Book Bonanza? I downloaded my ebook onto the computer so I always have it in some form…
