This book satisfies the Retelling spot on my #SFvFBingo challenge being hosted by Curiosity Killed the Bookworm.
This book was creepy AF ya’ll! Like, I was torn between feeling dirty and feeling dirty if you know what I mean. The Hatter was a straight up Sociopath! And Alice was seemed too young and impressionable. She was a a predator’s dream victim and that part was really borderline too far for me.
This was a super short novella so it was really fast-paced so I didn’t really get a detailed back story on either of them/ Not that it would nave helped how I felt about Hatter in any way but maybe I wouldn’t have disliked Alice so much. Glad I read it just for the simple fact that it satisfies a book bingo spot but pther than that, I’m not gonna read any more in this series, I don’t know that it is, but I could see it being turned in to one.
