Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

ARCs From Authors/PR Companies:

  • Motion (Laws of Physics #1, Hypothesis #2.1) by Penny Reid from Social Butterfly PR — releases February 11th, 2019.  *jaw drops*  I almost didn’t request, b/c I knew how coveted these ARCs would be, and I couldn’t imagine getting chosen.  So you can imagine how much I squealed when I got the email.  😉
  • Between Friends (Romance for all Seasons #5) by Sandra Marie — releases February 1st, 2019.  I cannot WAIT to read this one, it’s the story I’ve been looking forward to the most in this series!
  • False 9 by Megan Erickson — releases February 4th, 2019.
  • Anton (Chicago Blaze #1) by Brenda Rothert from InkSlinger PR — releases January 29th, 2019.

Preorders That Went Live:

Audiobooks:

  • The Ugly Stepsister (Unfinished Fairy Tales #1) by Aya Ling, narrated by Luci Christian — I’m a sucker for a $1.99 Whispersync Add-On deal, and when I saw the narrator was Luci Christian, I was like YES!!!
  • Text 2 Lovers (2 Lovers #1) by K. Webster & J.D. Hollyfield, narrated by Ava Erickson & Jacob Morgan — Same dealio, $1.99 Whispersync Add-On, and I’ve really enjoyed Jacob Morgan before so it was an easy decision.

Purchased:

Did you hear about the ebook deal Amazon has on right now?  You have to activate it, but once you do, if you purchase $20 of ebooks from then until the 28th, then you get a $5 ebook credit.  Check it out here.  So, as you can imagine, even though it doesn’t make much sense, I decided I needed my $5 credit.  *rolls eyes*  And I got it.  I went through my wishlist and bought a few.

  • Be the Girl by K.A. Tucker — released January 21st, 2019.  I could have put this under New Releases instead, because I think I learned about it in Jessica Park’s FB group (The Park Side).  But in truth I would have just wishlisted it for later if it hadn’t been for the deal.
  • Sneaking Around (Rumor Has It) by Stephanie St. Klaire — This is an author I’ve never read who will be at Shameless Book Con in Orlando in October (which I’m hoping to get tickets to).  And when I saw this cover, I had to read the blurb.  And when I read the blurb, I had to wishlist it.  So I’mma give it a try.
  • Text 2 Lovers (2 Lovers #1) by K. Webster & J.D. Hollyfield — Ms. Hollyfield will be at both Talkbooks Author Event and Shameless Book Con, and this one just looks cute.
  • Loving Irish (The Summerhaven Trio #3) by Katy Regnery — When I read an ARC of a book, I don’t always buy the book right away.  But since this was my favourite of the series, I decided it needed to be mine.  See my review here.
  • Thomas’ Heart (Judgement of the Six Companion Series #4) and Carlos’ Peace (Judgement of the Six Companion Series #5) by Melissa Haag — I want to finish this series (and the original) this year, particularly since Ms. Haag is supposed to be attending Penned Con in St. Louis in September.

Got It On Sale:

  • A Light Amongst Shadows (Dark is the Night #1) by Kelley York & Rowan Altwood — I’ve really enjoyed the books I’ve read by Ms. York, so even though this is a Historical novel, I wishlisted it.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $1.99 (and sometimes $2.99), I snagged it!  Still on sale!
  • Fall of Angels: The Complete Trilogy (Fall of Angels #1-3) by Keary Taylor — I’ve only read one of Ms. Taylor’s YA contemporary books, but I LOVED it.  I already had the first book in this series, but when I saw it on BookBub on sale for 99 cents from its usual $8.99, and knowing Ms. Taylor is supposed to be at Penned Con, I snagged it!  Still on sale!
  • The Fallen World: The Complete Series (Fallen World #1-3.5) by Megan Crewe — I really enjoyed A Mortal Song by Ms. Crewe, and so when I saw this box set on BookBub on sale for 99 cents from its usual $9.99, I figured I’d give it a shot.  Still on sale!  Plus good for my Dystopia Reading Challenge!
  • The Ugly Stepsister (Unfinished Fairy Tales #1) by Aya Ling — Can I admit that I honestly have no idea how this one got on my radar?  Maybe a TTT list or something?  Anyways, it was on my wishlist.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $4.99, I one-clicked!  Still on sale!
