Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Curly Carla’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

Kindle Unlimited:

  • Free Spirit (The Bound Spirit #2) by H.A. WIlls.  I read the first one and it was pretty good so I figured I would keep going.
  • Inception (Marked #1) by Bianca Scardoni. I have been digging the dark romances lately so I figured I’d try one with a paranormal twist.
  • Persuasion (Curse of the Gods #2) by Jaymin Eve & Jane Washington.  I am trying to be more open to reverse harem books, the first one was real good with a nice slow set up so I’m gonna keep reading.
  • The Fire Thief (The Fire Thief #1) by Erin St. Pierre & Gwynn White. Saw it on FB and was intrigued.

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

Preorders That Went Live:

  • Team Player (Charleston Thrashers #1) by Julianna Keyes — released March 28th, 2019.  I got an ARC of this through NetGalley and loved it, so I preordered it…see my review here.

New Releases:

  • Hook Shot (Hoops #3) by Kennedy Ryan — released March 26th, 2019.  This is a series I really want to read this year.  I read a novella for Christmas and loved it, so I had to snag it.  Plus, it’s only $2.99, and I think that’s just a release week price.

Newsletter Freebies:

  • Love Machine by Kendall Ryan — Snagged this one from Sarina Bowen’s newsletter!

Audible Romance Package:

  • Ninja at First Sight (Knitting in the City #4.75) by Penny Reid, narrated by Em Eldridge
  • Happily Ever Ninja (Knitting in the City #5) by Penny Reid, narrated by Em Eldridge & Will M. Watt
  • Dating-ish (Knitting in the City #6) by Penny Reid, narrated by Joy Nash — So, even though I’m no longer going to see Penny Reid this year (due to the cancellation of the 6ix Author Event in Toronto), I still really want to finish this series this year.  And since these books are in the Audible Romance Package, I kind of want to get to them sooner than later in case they get removed, so I figured I would add them to my library now.  Not sure if that’ll keep me safe if they get removed from ARP, but just in case.

Got It On Sale:

  • It Started with Goodbye by Christina June — I think the gorgeous cover probably initially sucked me in, and then I read Anita’s review and put it on my wishlist.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $6.49, I one-clicked!!  Still on sale!
  • Havenwood Falls: Volume One (Havenwood Falls #1-3) by Kristie Cook, Susan Burdorf, & E.J. Fechenda — So when I was first making my spreadsheet for Penned Con, I noticed quite a few of the authors had books in this “series”.  So while none of these authors are attending, when I saw this first volume on my BookBub email, on for free from its usual $4.99, I figured I’d give the “world” a try and see if I’m intrigued.  Still free!
