Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Curly Carla’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

Kindle Unlimited:

  • Strength (Curse of the Gods #4) by Jane Washington & Jaymin Eve.  I have a love/hate relationship with this series. I can’t stop reading it to find out what happens but I don’t like the female MC, she is hella immature.
  • Pain (Curse of the Gods #5) by Jane Washington & Jaymin Eve.  See above.
  • My Life in Shambles by Karina Halle.  I forget how I came across this book. It was alright.
  • The Rebel of Raleigh High (Raleigh Rebels #1) by Callie Hart.  Lenore actually recommended this one to me but I haven’t started it yet. (NOTE from Lenore: I haven’t read it either, but I saw it on someone else’s blog)
  • Rhapsodic (The Bargainer #1) by Laura Thalassa. Dear lord I love this author.  She is deep and has great world building and her dialogue rocks as well as the chemistry.  I just can’t get enough of her.
  • A Strange Hymn (The Bargainer #2) by Laura Thalassa.  Thank god her books are all on KU or I’d be broke.
  • Dark Harmony (The Bargainer #3) by Laura Thalassa.  I’m will finish this book tomorrow, can’t wait to see how the series ends.

Preorders That Went Live:

Newsletter Freebies:

  • Mouth to Mouth (Beach Kingdom #1) by Tessa Bailey — I signed up for another book of the month type club, The Dirty Boys Book Club.  Apparently I haven’t nabbed any of the previous months books, either because of no interest or I already had it.  But this one sounds intriguing.  You can still sign up and get books from this month onward!
  • Breathless (Love Serial #1) by Maria Luis — Snagged this one from Devney Perry’s newsletter (which is funny because I’m only subscribed to it because of a free book from Sarina Bowen’s newsletter)!  I haven’t read anything by this author, but she will be attending Shameless in Orlando.

Audible Romance Package:

  • Endless Magic (Star-Crossed #4), Fateful Magic (Star-Crossed #6.75) & The Reluctant King (Star-Crossed #5) by Rachel Higginson, narrated by Bailey Carr & Josh Hurley (for The Reluctant King) — I got sucked in by my fave series, and now I’m listening to them all in the Audible Romance Package, instead of what I should be reading.  I also forgot when Fateful Magic was set, so I read it in the wrong order, oh well!

Audiobooks:

  • Walk of Shame (Love Unexpectedly #4) by Lauren Layne, narrated by Joe Arden & Susannah Jones — As you’ll see lower down, I got the Kindle book on sale this week, and since the audiobook was only $3.47 Whispersync Add-On, and I enjoy the narrators, I figured I’d nab it!
  • Fearless Magic (Star-Crossed #3), Endless Magic (Star-Crossed #4) & Fateful Magic (Star-Crossed #6.75) by Rachel Higginson, narrated by Bailey Carr — Just like last week, after listening to all of these on ARP, I bought them all for $1.99 Whispersync Add-On.

Got It On Sale:

  • Water’s Edge Complete Duet (Water’s Edge #1-2) by Stacy Kestwick — Ms. Kestwick posted about the release of this boxed set in Ginger Scott’s Ginger’s Ninjas Facebook Group, and since I was curious about the books anyways, and Ms. Kestwick will be attending Shameless in Orlando, AND it was only $1, I figured why not!  Still on sale!
  • Walk of Shame (Love Unexpectedly #4) by Lauren Layne — This is an author I follow on eReaderIQ, and I read and loved this book as an ARC (see my review here).  So when I got an alert that it was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $4.99, I one-clicked.  Still on sale!
  • Little Miss Perfect by Julia Kent — Apparently this is a prequel to Fluffy, which I got last week.  I have no idea how I heard about it, but it’s free!  Not sure if it will always be free…

  1. Now I kind of want to read The Rebel of Raleigh High, too — even though neither of you have read it. LOL

I loved Top Secret and Walk of Shame. You’re in for fun with those two.
