Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Curly Carla’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

Kindle Unlimited:

  • Filthy Rich Boys (Rich Boys of Burberry Prep #1) by C.M. Stunich. I LOVED The Secret Girl by this author so I’m gonna give this one a try.
  • Burn for Me by R.A.Black & J.C. Allen. I like the cover and firemen. 🙂
  • Suppressed (Sins of Our Ancestors #2) by Bridget E. Baker. The first one was great so yeah.

Purchased:

  • Fallen Crest Forever (Fallen Crest High #7) by Tijan. I have been waiting to finish this series because I didn’t want it to end.  But I think I’m ready.

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

ARCs From Authors/PR Companies:

  • Superfan (Brooklyn #3) by Sarina Bowen from Nina Bocci PR — releases June 25th, 2019.

Preorders That Went Live:

  • Coldhearted Boss by R.S. Grey — released June 6th, 2019.  This author ALWAYS makes me laugh, and she has 99 cent preorders, can’t beat that!

New Releases:

  • Hilariously Ever After by Various Authors — released June 5th, 2019.  FREE!!!  I’ve read a few of these books, but I don’t pass up opportunities to try out new authors for free.
  • Love Is All: Volume II by Various Authors — released June 10th, 2019.  An LGBTQ+ anthology for just 99 cents, with proceeds going to an advocacy group?  Sign me up!

Got It On Sale:

  • The Brothers Sinister: The Complete Boxed Set (Brothers Sinister #0.5-4.5) by Courtney Milan — I honestly have no idea how I found out about this sale.  Maybe the Sharks of Awesome group?  But regardless, it was on sale for $2.99 from its original $9.99, and since I’ve heard good things about the series, I figured I’d try it out.  No longer on sale.
  • We Own Tonight (Second Time Around #1) by Corinne Michaels — I actually got this one from an author’s newsletter with BookFunnel at some point, but I think I saw it posted in a group that it was free on Amazon (from its usual $4.99), and since that gives me a verified review and access to any Whispersync deals, I snatched it up.  No longer on sale.
  • Traitor Born (Secondborn #2) by Amy A. Bartol — This is a book I got through NetGalley but haven’t gotten to yet.  With the release of the final book in the trilogy, the first 2 books went on sale, this one $1.99 from its usual $5.99.  Again, this allows me to get a verified review, and more importantly, if I like the narrator (because I already have the Whispersync of the first book), then I can get the audio for $1.99 Whispersync as well.  Still on sale!
  • Pestilence (The Four Horsemen #1) by Laura Thalassa — Quite a while ago I read Lillian(from Mom With a Reading Problem)’s review and became intrigued.  Then Curly Carla loved it, and I wishlisted it.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was free from its usual $2.99, I snagged it!  No longer on sale.
  • Baby, Baby (Love in the City #1) by Victoria H. Smith — When I decide to go to an event (Shameless in Orlando in this case), I’ll often look through attending authors books…particularly when I’m looking for new diversity books to read.  This one intrigued me, so I wishlisted it.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was free from its usual $5.99, I one-clicked.  No longer on sale.
  • Love from A to Z by S.K. Ali — Spotted this one in my BookBub email on sale for $2.99 from its original $10.99, and since I’m always looking to diversify my diversity reading, I figured why not!  Looks like this one might have been Canada only, and it’s still on sale for me!
  • A Curse So Dark and Lonely (A Curse So Dark and Lonely #1) by Brigid Kemmerer — I saw this one on NetGalley and tried to request it, but was rejected…so I put it on my wishlist.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $8+, I jumped on it!  Still on sale!
  • What the Wind Knows by Amy Harmon — I’m not much of a historical reader (contrary to the 2 purchases I made this month), but I do love me some Amy Harmon, and I follow her on eReaderIQ.  So when I got an alert that this one was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $4.99, I figured I’d try it.  Plus, Ireland.  Still on sale!
  • The Corner of Forever and Always (Everland, Georgia #2) by Lia Riley — This is another NetGalley ARC I didn’t get to, but apparently put on my wishlist.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $2.99, I went for it!  Still on sale.
  • The McCain Saga (The McCain Saga #1-4) by Keary Taylor — I’ve actually only read one book by this author, but I loved it.  And I already have the first book in this series, but when I see a boxed set on sale for 99 cents (from its usual $7.99) in my BookBub email, I err on the side of hoping I’ll love it and want to read them all.  Plus, this author will be at Penned Con in September!  Still on sale!

  1. I can’t believe you put Fallen Crest Forever off for so long! I had to read it as soon as I finished Fallen Crest Home. I have re-listened to the series since then so it wouldn’t be over for me, though. LOL

I’m going to be so interested in reading your Superfan review!
