Blurb:

The fae king is growing on me. Every touch, look, and night spent in his arms is slowly melting my resistance. When his feral side takes over, something inside me wants to let go and give him everything. With each passing day, the pull is getting harder to deny...

But, the road to the winter realm is full of danger. And, I need to concentrate on finding my way home, not on the promises of pleasure Leander whispers in my ear at night. Even so, how long can I resist the intoxicating kiss of winter?

My Review:

The last book was a cliffy!  And while I don’t really like them that much (personal choice) since the next one was already out, I was able to dive right in!  And this one really builds on the relationship (or lack thereof) with leander and Taylor.  The side characters start to really stand out a bit in this one too. Beth is a delight to watch, she has no regard for her safety unless it literal life or death.  Even then it’s questionable.  And grumpy Garenth is the level headed one always watching Leanders back.

It seems trouble is dogging our determined characters travels at every turn.  And the way they dodge and weave through these potential dangers if funny, adventurous and witty.  There is a ebb and flow between them all that just felt so effortless, especially with the dialogue.  I love when the dialogue is smooth and assists the action scenes.  This is like a perfect storm for me.
