Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Curly Carla’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

Kindle Unlimited:

  • Ice Planet Barbarians (Ice Planet Barbarians #1) by Ruby Dixon.  I like this author, she has good easy reads in between the heavier ones.
  • Barbarian Alien (Ice Planet Barbarians #2) by Ruby Dixon.
  • Marvels and Misfits (Trixie Towers #1) by Scarlett Dawn.  I like the cover and the title.
  • Academy of Six (Origins of the Six #1) by A.K. Koonce & Aleera Anaya Ceres.  I liked the title and the cover of this one too.

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

New Releases:

  • The Sweetest Things (Starlight Harbor #1) by Bria Quinlan — released July 8th, 2019.  I really enjoy Ms. Quinlan’s quirky books, and this one sounds delightful.  And it’s still release priced at 99 cents!
  • Pact with a Heartbreaker (Havenbrook #2.5) by Brighton Walsh — released July 11th, 2019.  I’ve never read this author, but somehow I started getting her newsletters (probably one of those clubs I signed up for).  It was just 99 cents for release, and sounded cute, so thought I’d give it a try.
  • Wipe Out (Ryder Bay #4) and White Water (Ryder Bay #5) by Jordan Ford — released July 20th, 2019.  I beta read Wipe Out and the bonus epilogue book White Water, which came as a special extra for early release purchasers I think.  I’m not sure if it’ll be available for purchase later?

Audible Escape Package:

  • Demon Ember (Resurrection Chronicles #1) by M.J. Haag & Becca Vincenza, narrated by Dara Rosenberg — Both of these authors will be at Penned Con in September, so I thought I’d give this one a go.  I’m listening to it right now, and it’s definitely different!  🙂
  • Soul in Darkness by Wendy Higgins, narrated by Bridie Lawrence — Ms. Higgins will be at both Penned Con and Shameless Book Con in October, so I will probably be listening to this next!
  • Finding Kyler (The Kennedy Boys #1) by Siobhan Davis, narrated by Sinead Collins — This author will be attending Shameless, but her preorder is closing in August, so I’d like to give her a try soon.

Audiobooks:

  • Ninja at First Sight (Knitting in the City #4.75) by Penny Reid, narrated by Em Eldridge — I recently listened to this one through the Audible Escape Package and LOVED IT (review coming soon)!!  So since it was just $1.99 Whispersync Add-On, I nabbed it forever and always!

  1. I’ve heard that Ice Planet Barbarians series is addicting. I hope you enjoy it!

I haven’t tried Siobhan Davis yet either. I’ll be interested in hearing your thoughts on her.
