Blurb:

The Red Plains are hot.

But my fae king?

Even hotter.

So, we kind of got captured by a warlike clan of Vundi warriors. Sounds bad, right? But they treat us as guests, and I’m coming to like them despite the ongoing threat of me being shipped off to the king beyond the mountain. I still endeavour to reach the winter kingdom and find a way back home… until the Vundi high priestess reveals that I may have more ties to the fae world than I ever imagined. On top of that, Leander knows just what buttons to press to get me naked, in a tub, and panting for him. My resolve is failing on all fronts. But, worse than that, I discover danger is even closer than I realised...

My Review:

Favoirte Quote:

“Hi.” I stuff my hands into my dress pockets. “I love it when dresses have pockets, don’t you?” “What imbecile would make a dress without pockets?” She raises one eyebrow.

I like these hot and heavy yet, action packed short stories.  They are super entertaining! These characters show growth and maturity as the story progresses.  I love how there Taylor always seems to turn the supposed enemies into grateful allies by the end of the story with her sharp mind and practical solutions to their issues.  Leander’s pursuit of her affections hasn’t let up and while Taylor isn’t really fighting it all that hard anymore, I do like their sexual banter.  I could do without the abrupt cliffy but I know the other book was already out when I started this series so it’s not that big a deal.
