Blurb:

"Girls like you aren't exactly welcomed at a place like this, so keep your head down and look the other way."

Those were the exact words of my social worker when she dropped me in my newest hellhole, a place for "troubled teens".

I didn't listen, and now I'm on their radar.

They expect me to play along in their games of hierarchy, to fall in line in the social order they've deemed me fit.

Too bad for them, I don't follow rules. Too bad for me, they're determined to make sure I do.

Inconceivably attractive and treated like kings...these are the boys of Brayshaw High. And I'm the girl who got in their way.

Releasing January 17th, 2019Note: This is book one in a three book series

My Review:

This blurb sounded similar to Tijan’s Fallen Crest Series. I love dark high school romances.  This one did not disappoint!  I honestly think this might be better than FCH.  Even though I’m not done with this series.

This story had lots of twists and turns that I don’t think were necessary to the plot but they were fun to follow none the less.  The action was intense and steady throughout the book.  Raven is a total boss.  She takes no BS and is too stubborn to know when to stop. Her arrogance would be annoying in a man but it settles around her like a well fitted pea coat.  (I love me some pea coats ya’ll) And while her growth in this book is wanting, the boys growth makes up for her lack. These boys! Ugh, each one has a specific personality that calls to her on some level.  She offers them each a piece of herself and I think that is what makes them accept her.  I loved all the one on one moments that we see in the beginning of her relationships with ech of the boys.  It felt very real and genuine when they interacted.  It was just really well written.

I honestly thought this was a RH and I kinda wish it was. But alas, it is not.  I can’t really describe the storyline other than it held me enthralled and I’m going to re-read this when the last one comes out.
