Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

ARCs From Authors/PR Companies:

  • The Wallace Girl (Feud #1) & The Sinclair Heir (The Feud #2) by Eliot Scott — releases October 15th, 2019 and October 24th respectively.  Eliot Scott is the penname for the duo of Anne Eliot and Ginger Scott, both of which are on my fave authors list.  This duet was originally released on Patreon I think?  And now it’s being released outside of that!  Note that if you are NOT an Amazon reader, you’ll want to preorder these two on the platform of your choice, because they’ll only be up a day before going Amazon exclusive for KU.
  • Love in Due Time (Green Valley Library #1) by L.B. Dunbar from Social Butterfly PR — releases October 22nd, 2019.  Watch for my BLOG TOUR review on October 24th I believe!

Preorders That Went Live:

  • Single in Sitka (Odds-Are-Good #1) by Katy Regnery — released October 7th, 2019.  This one was on a preorder special of 99 cents (no longer on sale), so I figured why not?

New Releases:

  • Must Love Coffee by Sarah Mayberry — released September 30th, 2019.  Only 99 cents!
  • Neutral Grounds by Jiffy Kate — released October 7th, 2019.  Release week special of 99 cents (still on as of today)!  I blame Emerald Book Reviews for making me aware of this.

Gifted/Won It:

  • The Boy Most Likely To by Huntley Fitzpatrick — This is sort of an unofficial sequel to My Life Next Door, and I’ve been wanting to read more of the Garrett family…so it’s been on my wishlist for a LONG time.  And my beautiful co-pilot, Curly Carla, gifted it to me for my birthday!!  Am I spoiled or what?

Newsletter Freebies:

  • Girl in Luv & Boy in Luv (In Luv #1-2) by Jay Crownover & Rebecca Yarros — I actually got both of these earlier in the year, but they weren’t on Goodreads, so I hadn’t added them there.  They’re going to be released for realz this month, so watch for that!

Audiobooks:

  • Game of Hearts (Fandom Hearts #3) by Cathy Yardley, narrated by Serena St. Clair & Jay Skelton — I LOVED this book when I read it, but I’ve really enjoyed this whole series on audio as well, and when I was giving recommendations for $1.99 Whispersync deals in an audiobook group I belong to, I discovered that this one is $1.99 Whispersync but I didn’t have it yet!  It’s also available in Audible Escape, but I like “owning” things if I can.
  • Baking Me Crazy (Donner Bakery #1) by Karla Sorensen, narrated by Chris Brinkley & Reba Buhr — This is the first book released in the Smartypants Romance Universe, and I’ve been interested in quite a few of them (but had to restrain myself from requesting ARCs of all of them, especially since we leave for Disney World in 2 days).  And for some reason I’m more willing to spend a bit more for audiobooks than I am just for Kindle Books…and since this was only $7.49 on Author’s Direct, and I know that more of the money actually goes to the authors, it was a no-brainer.

Got It On Sale:

  • Blue Bayou by Jiffy Kate — Once again, I blame my interest in this on Emerald Book Reviews.  They shared that this one was on sale for free from its usual $3.99, so I figured it was a good way to introduce myself to these authors — not to mention they will be at Book Bonanza 2020, which I decided I needed to go to next year.  *rolls eyes*  No longer free.
  • The Ones Who Got Away, The One You Can’t Forget, & The One You Fight For (The Ones Who Got Away #1-3) by Roni Loren — When I was making my spreadsheet for Book Bonanza 2020, these covers jumped out at me (especially the 3rd one — diversity yay!).  Then I saw that Deanna @A Novel Glimpse had reviewed them all, and in general enjoyed them.  AND THEN I noticed that they all just happened to be on sale (for free, 99 cents, and $1.99 respectively) from their usual $5+, so I figured why not!  No longer on sale.

  1. I’m so happy that my reviews led you to read that series! The fourth book in the series is coming out soon and it’s on NetGalley for request right now. 😉

I’m really interested to hear your thoughts on The Feud series. I read it.
