Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews (and co-hosted by Reading Reality) in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Curly Carla’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

Kindle Unlimited:

  • Shifter Mate Magic (Ice Age Shifters #1) by Carol Van Natta.  I liked the cover and title.
  • Four Psychos (The Dark Side #1) by Kristy Cunning. I am in this amazing author group called Thalassalites, for fans of Laura Thalassa.  (Sidenote: her work is amazeballs and you should all read ALL her books) Anyway, there are always one of us who are asking for Rec that are similar to her work. And I save ALL those posts to go back to when I don’t know what to read.  This book happened to be one of them so I snagged it. Wow, that was a lot of explanation, LOL.
  • Three Trials (The Dark Side #2) by Kristy Cunning.  This series is super great. Also, Look at this cover!!!!
  • Two Kingdoms (The Dark Side #3) by Kristy Cunning.  It just keeps getting better and better. I did NOT see that twist coming.

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

ARCs From Authors/PR Companies:

  • A Cowboy Never Quits (Turn Around Ranch #1) by Cindi Madsen — releases December 31st, 2019.  I got rejected on NetGalley for this one, but luckily I forgot that I’m on an unofficial ARC team for Ms. Madsen, so yay me!!
  • Man Cuffed (Man Hands #4) by Sarina Bowen & Tanya Eby from Nina Bocci PR — releases November 19th, 2019.  I seriously ADORE the covers for these ones, they suit the series perfectly!
  • Beard Necessities (Winston Brothers #7) by Penny Reid from Social Butterfly PR — releases November 4th, 2019.  I literally just got this as I was writing this post.  It releases on Monday, but my BLOG TOUR date isn’t until like December 4th!  So you’ll have to wait with baited breath…and I have to wait to read it because I have another commitment I have to finish first…boooo (though in reality, I’m enjoying that commitment as well).

New Releases:

  • The Kingmaker (All the King’s Men Duet #1) by Kennedy Ryan — released October 25th, 2019.  This one feels a bit out of my wheelhouse, but I really enjoy Ms. Ryan’s writing, so since it’s on release week sale of $2.99, I snagged it.  Still on sale!

Audible Escape Package:

  • Ship of Fools (Fandom Hearts #6) by Cathy Yardley, narrated by Jay Skelton & Serena St. Clair — I love this series, and I didn’t realize this one was out!  I borrowed it assuming I’m going to finish this series soon (at least before Book Bonanza 2020).

Audiobooks:

  • Stud Muffin (Donner Bakery #2) by Jiffy Kate, narrated by Chris Brinkley & Marnye Young — Another release from the Smartypants Romance Universe!  And another one I restrained myself from requesting an ARC of because of vacation plans.  And again, these ones are all a bit spendier on Kindle (worth it, just up there), so for some reason I’d rather spend $7.49 for the audiobook on Authors Direct where a greater portion of the proceeds go to the artists.  Now the site just needs to get better at search, and become available in more places!!  🙂

Got It On Sale:

  • Unthinkable (Beyond Human #1) & Unspeakable (Beyond Human #2) by Nina Croft — So apparently Ms. Croft is having a big sale, because I follow her on eReaderIQ and got an alert about a bunch of her books being on sale for 99 cents!  Both of these are originally $4.99, so it’s a freaking great deal.  And both of these I had NetGalley ARCs for and really enjoyed them (see my reviews here and here), so it was a no-brainer.  I might go through and pick up a few more books by Ms. Croft if I can get myself organized.  Still on sale!
