Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews (and co-hosted by Reading Reality) in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

ARCs From Authors/PR Companies:

Preorders That Went Live:

  • Outcast Girl vs. Pretty Boy (Forever Love #4) by Jordan Ford — released January 2nd, 2020.  Another beta read!!  Someday I’ll get reviews written for these, but I loved this one and I’m loving this series!

New Releases:

  • The Trouble with Gravity (Gravity #3) by K.K. Allen — released December 30th, 2019.  OK, so I still haven’t read this series, though it is high priority for me in the next few months.  But apparently it’s on a release sale of $2.99, so I took a risk that I’ll fall in love.

Gifted/Won It:

I learned about Jolabokaflod last year, and I think it’s the best thing in the entire world, especially for book nerds.  And a few of my lovely book nerd friends gifted these to me for Jolabokaflod!

Borrowed From The Library:

  • Sweet Little Lies (Heartbreaker Bay #1), Accidentally on Purpose (Heartbreaker Bay #3) and About That Kiss (Heartbreaker Bay #5) by Jill Shalvis, all narrated by Karen White
  • Roomies by Christina Lauren, narrated by K.C. Sheridan
  • Josh & Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren, narrated by Todd Haberkorn and Jayme Mattler
  • Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren, narrated by Erin Mallon — I own 5 of these books in some format (Kindle or paperback), but I enjoy listening to audiobooks, so I found them at the library.  I’m currently listening to Sweet Little Lies, and I’m hoping to get through most of the rest of these this upcoming week during the Honoring Lost Friends Read-a-thon for COYER.  Both of these authors will be at Book Bonanza this summer.

Newsletter Freebies:

Had To Get The Next In The Series:

  • The Prom Kiss (Briarwood High #5) by Maggie Dallen — I read the first chapter of this one at the end of The Holiday Kiss, and just had to get it.  No regrets obviously.

Got It On Sale:

  • Maysen Jar Box Set (Maysen Jar #1-2) by Devney Perry — As I mentioned in the previous Stacking the Shelves, I had seen that this box set was on sale for $1.99, which even though I got the 2nd book for free, it was still a great deal, so I snagged it.  Still on sale!
  • Rival (Fall Away #2) by Penelope Douglas — I read the first book and a half of this series a LONG time ago, but really enjoyed it and always wanted to read the rest.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this one was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $11.99, I dove on it!  No longer on sale.
  • Center of Gravity (Gravity #1) and Defying Gravity (Gravity #2) by K.K. Allen — Found out in the Book Bonanza Attendees Facebook group that both of these books were on a Christmas sale of 99 cents from their usual $4.99, so I snagged them!  No longer on sale.
  • Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass #1) by Sarah J. Maas — These books are so popular with everyone I know, so I wishlisted it.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this one was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $6+, I one-clicked!  Still on sale!
  • Breaking His Code (Away From Keyboard #1) by Patricia D. Eddy — I…have no idea how I knew that this book was free, but since I LOVED the audiobook I read in September (my review here), I snagged the Kindle book too.  Still free!
  • Don’t Open Till Christmas (Santori Stories #3) by Leslie Kelly — Saw this one on BookBub for free from its usual $3.99, so I grabbed it.  I’ve enjoyed Ms. Kelly’s books in the past in my Harlequin days.  No longer on sale.
  • Ash Princess (Ash Princess Trilogy #1) by Laura Sebastian — Lillian @Mom with a Reading Problem listed this book in her 2018 End of Year Survey post, and I was intrigued so I wishlisted.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this one was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $9.99, I one-clicked!  Still on sale!
  • Praying for Rain (The Rain Trilogy #1) by B.B. Easton — This is another Book Bonanza attending author, and Penny Reid recommended this one in the Sharks of Awesome group.  It sounded intriguing, and it was free from its usual $3.99, so I figured I’d give it a try.  Still free!
