I was underwhelmed with this ending. It didn’t need to be a full length novel, an extended epilogue would have sufficed honestly. Not a lot really happened, it was just a bunch of the same internal struggle between families and their feelings for one another. And while I loved this series, I’m kinda mad at this one book. I could have never read it and it wouldn’t have affected the storyline. We know they get an HEA in the last book.
And those are the kinds of things that make me, as a reader, super mad. You don’t need to add a bunch of fluff to drag out a storyline. Now I know this series was ALL about fluff and drama but this last one really wasn’t necessary. I should stop now before I really start nit picking. Anyway, loved the series as a whole.
I’m sad you didn’t love this one. I guess I get that, though. I just love the characters so much that I was happy to see everything come full circle.
