Blurb:

I knew something was wrong the second she walked in the door tonight; I just couldn’t put my finger on what it was.

Same hair color. Same legs. Same face.

Except…I look harder. At the small dimple beneath her lip that wasn’t there the last time we went out. And her laugh—that laugh isn’t as loud.

This isn’t the girl I’ve gone out with the past few weeks. It’s her twin sister, and they’ve switched places on me.

Only I’m not quite ready to let them switch back.

My Review:

When Amelia’s identical twin double books herself a date, she calls on her fairthful sister to get her out of the jam.  It was a bit hilarious to see her try to wiggle her way out of going, but in the end she caved because thats what sisters do.  I found Amelia to be a sweet, loyal and smart MC.  I liked that she spoke Dante’s language, like literally. I liked that even though she started to have feelings for him, she didn’t act on them until she knew her sister wasn’t really invested.  And I enjoyed her struggle with feeling like she betrayed him.

Dante was hard working (obviously, you don’t get to be a star athlete in college without a good work ethic) but he holds himself back a bit from getting into serious relationships.  Hence why he was dating Lucy (the twin) in the first place.  But he soon realizes he’s been bamboozled on one of the dates.  Amelia may look the same but that’s all the similarities they have. And while you think he would be pissed, he just takes in all in stride and enjoys the company.  I think it surprises them both how much they enjoy each other’s company.

Their attraction happened so naturally and flowed so effortlessly in this story.  The chemistry was on point and Lucy even came through in the end and redeemed herself.  This was a cute short story with a nice twist.
