My rating:
Blurb:You'd think being abducted by aliens would be the worst thing that could happen to me. And you'd be wrong. Because now, the aliens are having ship trouble, and they've left their cargo of human women - including me - on an ice planet.
And the only native inhabitant I've met? He's big, horned, blue, and really, really has a thing for me...
So this was my first RD book ever! And at first I though it was a bit cheesy. But then I really started getting into it. The new world the girls had to survive in and the blue aliens living in cavemen-ish times. (honestly I don’t really know the time period, its just super olden days out there.) No electricity, no plumbing, no crops because the planet is literally covered in ice. They are hunter gatherers.
This is one of my favorite series, I’m on like book 15 so far, and thats not including the mini’s in between. The romance was electric and while a bit over the top, it seemed to fit within the story perfectly. And the males are super distinct. Like they are alpha-ish in that they want to take care of their mates but also show immense respect by not trying to control them in any way. This appeals to my independant side while also giving me a taste of chivalry.
This is a great start to a wonderful series.
I’ve heard this series is addicting!
That’s the last straw…I got the audiobook yesterday and it totally is addicting!
