Blurb:

'Resonance' is supposed to be a dream - that's when your soulmate is chosen for you. And everyone on the ice planet has hooked up with a big, hunky soulmate of their own... except me. So do I want a mate? Heck yeah. More than anything, all I've ever wanted is to be loved by someone.
Except that the soulmate chosen for me? My least favorite person on the darn ice planet. Haeden's the most cranky, disapproving, unpleasant, overbearing male alien... so why is it that my body sings when he gets close? Why is he working so hard to prove to me that he's not as awful as I think he is?
I hate him... don't I?

My Review:

It’s the one I was waiting for….Josie’s story! I love Josie, she is loud, annoying and just a little bit too helpful. Her personality is a bit over the top and she knows that she is not everyone’s cup of tea, but she owns her personality.  And she also knows that resonance will find her someone to love her for her. So she’s a bit desperate.  That is until her cooty finally resonates and its to the meanest blue dude.

And don’t tell me you didn’t guess who her mate was going to be, it’s been foreshadowed over several books for crying out loud!  At first, I was not a fan of Haeden.  He was borderline abusive with the other chic.  Not to mention overbearing, condescending and downright grouchy.  It’s like he refuses to even try to have fun.  And even with all that I still felt sorry for him when Josie refused their resonance to the point of sickness for them both. Bad form girl.

Anyway, it all came out in the wash with them finally trying to understand each other’s perspective.  Allowing things to evolve was almost worth the agony of the first two-thirds of them fighting.  Ok, it was totally worth it!
