Blurb:

New town, new school. Same story. I'm Laura, I've spent most of my life crisscrossing the county yielding to the whims of my transient mother. We've never stayed in one place long enough to call it home, and I don't have any hope of that changing.
I follow the rules; no drawing attention to myself, no friends, and especially no boys.
But my mom's been keeping secrets, secrets so profound they threaten to turn my world upside down. I've always assumed her paranoia was a symptom of a mental illness, but as her secrets begin to unravel, I realize nothing is what it seems.
As my life careens out of control a group of guys from school promise to give me answers about who I really am. I'm afraid of what I might learn, but more afraid of what I could be giving up if I don't listen.

My Review:

Let me be clear, this book wasn’t super great.  It was only ok. But I loved the way it was told so I upped it an extra star for that alone. I was immediately drawn in to this world.  The evolution of her friendship with them was fast yet organic.  I love how each individual relationship develops.  My favorite in this one is Ares.  He was the oldest and the most alpha. Which I really love him for some reason.

He had given up hope on finding his synergyist and it seemed to be making him a bit unglued.  The love story is the real winner here, if you overlook the plot holes it was quite entertaining.  The author attempts to add a mysterious plot into this story but its a huge fail, filled with uneven time lines and huge plot holes.  I just ignored those and read it for the love story.
