Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews (and co-hosted by Reading Reality) in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Curly Carla’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

Kindle Unlimited:

  • Lawless (Steel Demons MC #1) by Crystal Ash. A nice dystopian motorcycle club book. Who doesn’t like a multi genre story?
  • Tithed to the Fae (Fae Mates #1) by Zoe Chant. For some reason I’ve been obsessed lately with fated mates and this one was pretty decent as those stories go.
  • Oath Forger 1 (Oath Forger #1) by Nia Mars.  I recently joined a FB group for reverse Harem addicts like myself and I saw this one, liked the title and thought I’d give it a try.
  • Oath Forger 2 (Oath Forger #2) by Nia Mars.  Well, the cover and title may not be the fanciest but its whats inside that counts right? Great story so far.

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

ARCs From Authors/PR Companies:

  • Code of Honor (Cipher Security #2) by April White from Smartypants Romance — released March 24th, 2020.  LOVED it so much I preordered it too (but won’t put it again under that heading).  BLOG TOUR date is April 8th.
  • Been There Done That (Leffersbee #1) by Hope Ellis from Smartypants Romance — releases March 31st, 2020.  BLOG TOUR date is April 15th.
  • The Treble With Men (Scorned Women’s Society #2) by Piper Sheldon from Smartypants Romance — releases April 7th, 2020.  BLOG TOUR date is April 22nd.

Purchased:

  • Code of Conduct (Cipher Security #1) by April White — This was my favourite book from launch #1 of Smartypants Romance Universe, so I was surprised I hadn’t bought it.

Got It On Sale:

  • Survive the Hunt (24 Hours – Final Countdown #2) by Diana Duncan — I had this book on Harlequin paperback when it was titled Truth or Consequences, and it was my favourite in the series.  So when I saw it in my BookBub email on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99, I snagged it.  No longer on sale.
  • Rhapsodic, A Strange Hymn and Dark Harmony (The Bargainer #1-3) by Laura Thalassa — This series was recommended by none other than my co-pilot Curly Carla (see her reviews here), so I wishlisted it.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that each book was free from its usual $2.99 or $3.99, I jumped on them!  No longer free.
  • Cursed Hearts: The Complete Collection (Cursed Hearts #1-3) by Meg Anne & Jessica Wayne — I met Ms. Anne at Penned Con this past September, and we hung out during an flight snafu.  So when she posted that this box set was free from its usual $9.99, I snagged it!  No longer free.
  • Three to Ride (Nights in Bliss #1) by Lexi Blake, writing as Sophie Oak — I love this series, and I follow this author on eReaderIQ.  So when I got an alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99, I snagged it!  Still on sale!
  • Under Locke by Mariana Zapata — This is another author I follow on eReaderIQ, and I got an alert that this book was free from its usual $3.99, so I snagged it.  No longer free.
  • The Unseen (The Unseen #1) by Piper Sheldon — This author will be attending Book Bonanza this summer (assuming it’s still on), and posted about this book being free from its usual $3.99, so I snagged it!  No longer free.
  • In Search Of by Mara Dabrishus & Tudor Robins — I’ve read a few of the second author’s books, and she often puts a book one sale every month for a short period.  I didn’t have this one yet, and since it was free (from its usual $3.99) I one-clicked.  No longer free (though Six-Month Horse is).

Got It On Sale — Entangled Edition:

So, thanks to eReaderIQ, it became clear to me that Entangled Publishing was having a huge sale that spread across all it’s imprints.  I started snagging up books that I had the NetGalley ARC for and loved, as well as books that had been recommended to me (some #ownvoices)…and then I started grabbing books to finish off series.  And then, I decided fuck it — let’s do some advanced searching on Amazon and find all the books on sale and see what else catches my fancy.  I’m even going to share those lists with you (the *’s indicate imprints that I tend to read and enjoy the most).  Obviously affiliate links.  Most of the sale books are either free or 99 cents (and most were good for me in Canada, save for a few Embrace books I wanted).  For my recs, check out my Freebies/Deals list on my storefront as well: https://www.amazon.com/shop/celebrityreaders

Oh, I hope you enjoy the Bargainer Series. I also liked the Bad Boy Bargain. Clearly I like books with the name bargain in them, LOL.
