Audiobooks:
- The Avery Shaw Experiment (Science Squad #1) by Kelly Oram, narrated by Teddy Hamilton & Sarah McEwan — This is one of my favourite books, and I recently listened to this one via Audible Escape (but didn’t review it) when I needed a pick me up. I enjoyed it on audio too, and since it was $1.99 whispersync I picked it up.
- The Scourge (Brilliant Darkness #1) by A.G. Henley, narrated by Emily Woo Zeller — I wanted to fit in another read for the Swept at Sea RAT for COYER, and I spotted this one in my TBR and was curious. After reading this review at Mom With A Reading Problem, I decided to add on the $1.99 whispersync (and it was a brilliant decision).

So Amazon had another one of those promotions where if you bought $20 in ebooks, you got a $5 credit…and I don’t know why I fall for these, but I do. So I went looking through my wishlist and buying books off of it (and of course achieved my goal in no time).
- Shooting for the Stars (Gravity #3) by Sarina Bowen — Maybe I’ll actually finish this series this year.
- Chaos (Greystone #5), Victor (Greystone #6), and Force (Greystone #7) by Taylor Longford — Oh look, another series I want to finish…
- Family Secrets (The Secret Societies Collection #1) by Kat Nichols — I honestly don’t know why I didn’t already have this one. I beta read it. But apparently I didn’t, so that was remedied.
Had To Get The Next In The Series:
- Harry’s Sacrifice (Resonance Mates #5) by Bianca D’Arc — Finally finished this series…ended on a meh note.
Got It On Sale:
- Taming Demons for Beginners (The Guild Codex: Demonized #1) by Annette Marie — This author/series has been recommended to me by many friends, and so it was on my wishlist. When I was going through buying books for the credit, I discovered this one was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $2.99…not sure why I didn’t get an alert. *shrugs* Still on sale!
- Finding Alexei by Kendall Ryan — I borrowed this one from the library, but haven’t gotten around to reading it. Apparently it was still on my wishlist though, so when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99, I snagged it! Still on sale!
- Irresistible (Cloverleigh Farms #1) by Melanie Harlow — This is an author who is attending Book Bonanza, and she posted in the Facebook attendees group that this one was free from its usual $4.99, so I one-clicked. I’m not likely attending anymore, but I can’t seem to exit the group. No longer free.
- The Slip Series Collection (Scandalous Slip #1-3) by Gwyn McNamee — Saw this box set in Cassie Mae’s newsletter, on sale for 99 cents from its usual $5.99 I think? So I thought I’d try it. Still on sale for me, but not sure if everywhere.
- Demon Ember (Resurrection Chronicles #1) by M.J. Haag & Becca Vincenzia — I listened to this one through the Audible Escape Package and really enjoyed the series. So when I saw it in my Book Cave email for free from its usual 99 cents, I snagged it. Still free!
